Like the OP is saying. Wheel hub speed sensors often cause this problem on Journeys. Not hard to change, but need proper scanner to point to correct wheel. Plug and play sensor, no reprogramming needed.

AWD system has one elect plug on rear diff. It engages and disengages the coil for the rear drive viscous coupling. The ptu and rear diff fluids are over due for changing at 108k,  75w90 gear oil. There are links on site on how to change it.

Just did the RF bearing last week and the spec was 118. I'd doubt that spec has changed but always best to ensure spec from a relible source (and be sure of make/model application). Some sites give a "range or general torque value that may not be accurate. I did not mean to imply you used a wrong value, but meant as a possibility.

Check out AlfaOBD. It might me less userfriendly than AppCar-DiagFCA but the 50$  are not tied to one VIN.

I've got a cheap $34 OBD-II CAN reader that works well for quickly reading and clearing simple codes.  Mine is an older version of this one.  It won't handle ABS, SRS, or Body Codes.

For more advanced codes and reading/logging real-time data, I use a Bluetooth reader (similar to this one) and the Torque pro application on my Android phone.  It works well if you're phone savvy.

I've also been tempted to try Appcar DiagFCA with my Bluetooth reader but haven't forked over the $49 yet.
