my new 2017 is the same. blurriness in the daytime, and grainy crap at night. its still decent enough to NOT hit a car or wall behind me but still crappy. id LOVE to have a crystal clear camera. at least during daytime. i figure at night less light = less visual quality much like a normal camera more light = better picture. if i could swap it out somehow for an HD camera id do it in a heartbeat!

no regular 85 octane. here in Colorado we have 85,87,91 octanes. in some rural areas we have 89 octane ive never used E85. our grand caravan allows it too but ive heard good and bad about it so ive never tried it LOL. and ive always used regular 85 in it too. i guess since its the same engine i should use 87. as for the journey, i guess ill be using 87 then. ill be filling it up with its 3rd tank fill tomorrow too!

thread revive post....................... is it bad to run 85 octaine in these engines? im on my 2nd tank of gas. the day i bought the car the sales guy put in 85. i put 85 in the second tank as well. i ask because is it REALLY a bad thing to run 85? i mean is running 87 a scare tactic?

i did try to ask, but the guy in parts dept was having an off day ill guess..................he kept asking me, "a journey?" almost as if he never heard of it. i casually walked away after the 4th time he asked. LOL

so i took my wife's grand caravan to the dealership today for an oil change & brake job, and while waiting i was sitting in a hellcat. waaaaay to far outta my price range (especially with 4 kids still in the house) but i was thinking this car has a sweet RED push button start. I WANT A RED BUTTON TOO!! started searching..............found this https://moparonlineparts.com/dodge-journey-start-button-p-5151.html i was wondering in the description it says up to 2014, but is there ANY real difference in the push button? has anyone else attempted this? it seems like a cool little mod that would really change the look of the dash area.

this happened to me once only on my car door. my daughter used her finger to close the latch when the door was wide open. i had to use a screwdriver to slide into the clamp that was closed to simulate the door being in it. then somehow fiddeling with handles and stuff i got it opened. u just gotta get something in there to release the closed clamp

i will do that, i may pass.......its a polymer type of plastic, and right were it would go is the cat, that would get hot anyway. looks cool but i agree it may make things hotter

id say he was talking 2 front windows. i just had my 2 front windows done to match the back ones as well.

i saw a journey the other day and it had a blinking 3rd brake light. i could not get up beside her to ask where she got it from however. i REALLY liked blinking that so i googled and found this http://www.3rdbrakeflasher.com/ looks pretty darn small and simple to install. just wondering if anyone has done this?

i have the 8.4 uconnect. i just tried and it DOES play dvd's, i was wondering if theres any way to add the overhead dvd screen? is it worth it to do? i thought maybe a aftermarket screen but the factory one has the built in climate controls to replace the existing knobs up top. anyone add this in after buying their car?

update time so after a SECOND sirius call as well as registering my car on dodge's site............. im all setup. it appears that my car was in fact setup with 5 year subscription to Uconnect, but it didnt show on their end. now GPS, sirius, and all my Uconnect subscriptions work great!!

ill keep an eye out for your pic. maybe point out which piece you had to take off. itll help an amateur like me out. did the instructions state having to remove it as well?

OK SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..................i have no idea why but in our pantry we had white vinegar. so i used some bottled water to mix it. WHAT AN AMAZING THING!!!! my paint is sparkly new!!! thanks Armando G. for the tip!!

so in my area our sprinkler water is city water which is VERY hard/non-potable water. the whole passenger side of my new car is covered in white hard water spots. washing it does no good. i have spent the last 20 mins scrubbing with Windex the crap out of the windows and have made a 60% difference. but i cant Windex the paint. any ideas from anyone how to get hard water spots off??

just curious its been over a year.....how are these holding out? still recommend?
