  1. by DRL's you mean daytime running lights? on my car you can enable OR disable them. is that just a US thing? also they guy that did the mod told me THIS is the cable he used. under $100.00 for a sweet mod in total (software & cable)
  2. there is a guy on the "Dodge Journey Nation" facebook page that has unlocked all the SRT menus on his 8.4 uConnect screen. if anyone wants to have a look check it out on that facebook page. it looks like a kinda cool mod. just buy some cable (not sure which one) and download the Multiecuscan 4.0 software and load it up to laptop plug it in obd port and bam. he has a vid of it working on his screen and some little info vid of what he did. thought id share on here in case that guy isint on this forum.
  3. im not sure why, but today i have the bug to vinyl wrap my hood. i think my granite paint wood look good with a satin black wrapped hood.. i know i know its not a hellcat LOL but with the blackout package it might look pretty mean. has anyone wrapped their hood/car here?
  4. thats what i was thinking too, but the little idiot inside me who cant leave things alone is slowly taking control LOL
  5. price depends on what options you want the lights to do...... but im thinking they will be about $200-$250
  6. ok so an update............instead of the ebay ones (i youtubed a bunch of vids...those ebay ones are garbage) i found a custom made in USA site. their stuff looks VERY high quality i emailed them and this is their response....... "You are correct, the lamp assemblies will work on your Dodge Journey. I would provide you with the wiring harness, LED bulbs, bulb sockets, hardware, and wiring instructions. It would not be true “Plug and Play” but I would include simple to use t-taps that don’t require you to cut or splice any existing factory wiring. Then after you install the t-taps you would simply plug each corresponding wire into each one to activate the rear fogs. You would NOT need any resistors."
  7. also im hoping since the rear tail lights are ALREADY led from the factory it should not throw up any codes when these are wired into them.........
  8. for some reason i was emailed THIS LINK from ebay today it looks kinda cool actually, i was just wondering if anyone else has seen it? or looked into it? or heck even done it? when i type in the year it shows as compatible for the journey.............i kinda like it!
  9. you were right those pedals look fantastic! id totally getting them
  10. NICE!!! i agree they look really great!!
  11. i would like to get the mopar bright pedal kit. but ive not been able to find a kit for the journey specifically. so i was wondering, since ive found like 5 different bright pedal kits......which one do you guys think will fit the journey? ive found them for charger, challenger, jeep, and durango. does anyone have the set? the only thing i know is that its a real pain in the ass to get the brake pedal on apparently.. thoughts? advice?
  12. i appreciate the write up thank you! yes we have the new pacifica so ramps would be necessary.
  13. hahah that would be the obvious thing LOL
  14. do they really come with 4 free changes??? i was not told that how would i find that out?
  15. i wish i had 4 free oil changes!! i figure at the rate im driving my car (always driving my work truck) ill MAYBE be at 4000 miles at my 1 year mark. so worst case scenario 1 oil change a year even if it is pricey is better than multiple times per year...
  16. just curious for all you do it yerselfers........ anyone use an oil extractor? id like to save money and do it myself but have no desire or the tools to jack my car up and change it the normal way. some of the guys on the Pacifica forum use them to change oil on their vans, so i was thinking of getting one for our pacifica but thought id ask around here if anyone had used one? i figure full synthetic plus labor at the dealership is gonna be pricey so this may be a decent cheaper alternative. im at about 7 months @ 2700 miles so i figure ill just get an oil change @ 3000 miles to full synth.
  17. i may try it out, even if it lasts 2 years itll be worth it.
  18. yeah you got a point......maybe ill have the wife do it...she has patience.i have ZERO
  19. is there a special way to do it? honestly when i do it it ALWAYS looks like crap.
  20. https://www.aemintakes.com/search/product.aspx?prod=28-20470 just curious really. my friend has one of these in his vehicle. says he cant really tell if theres a difference, but he didnt want to use the oil k&n kind. its not too badly priced for our journeys. figured id ask if anyone has it or used it? its nice cause you can still clean it but its oil-less.
  21. well the car is only 7 months old..........still has new car smell inside............BAM a damn rock chip!!!!!!!!! not a happy camper. it is fairly small but still how do you guys deal with rock chips? ive never had very good luck with touchup paint, maybe its just me? i dunno?
  22. 200 is kinda steep, but it does look goon installed and the sound difference is sweet too! i AM getting one LOL.
  23. thats what i figured, looks like itll be 12 months at the rate i drive it LOL
