FYI. Disconnecting the battery will not affect your radio presets.

No. Kicker makes a sub in a ported box, similar to a Bose Radio, with an integral amp. No monster wires to the battery required. Fits perfect under my power front seat. It is actually made for single cab pickups. I have done extensive modifications to my POS stock system and have a couple of threads on it. Search!

You have got to be kidding. The DJ is NOT a Jeep. If you feel the need to ruin your DJ, go for it. The coupling (transfer case) for the AWD is a viscus clutch, a serious of plates encased in jelly. When wheels begin to spin, the plates spin and heat up the jelly to make the connection to the rear wheels. The first time you get stuck you are bound to destroy this coupling and I doubt if your warranty would cover it. It's your DJ; treat it the way you want to.

    1. You can not add a camera to a 4.3 unless you purchase a Lockpick.
    2. You can swap your 4.3 to an 8.4 and add Nav and a camera.

hi. i had the same issues with my old 2.4. also was never switching 'normally' from 3 to 4. took it to dealer. there was a problem with the transmission, so i changed everything that was necessary... but i was fed up paying on it, so i just gave the the car a bought a new rt awd. v6 is way better.. i think it might be your transmission or even your transmission fluid!!

Which engine? Could also be an electrical tick (arc). Find a really dark place, and search all around the top of the engine.
Also, why is it Dodge's fault that you purchased a 6 year old vehicle?

I have had my Journey since December 2014. It has been to every scheduled service on time and only has 14,000 miles on it. April 2015 I took it in for shifting issues. I found that it hesitates to down shift on the highway when needing to pass or speed up to merge. The dealers told me in April that the software was up to date. This has been a constant issue that I that I decided to deal with but today I had it happen again when I really needed to punch the gas and nothing happened. I did notice that when I hit the gas the RPM actually went down. I even threw it into manual to knock it down a gear and it wouldn't shift. It seems to be an issue with the transition between 3 and 4 up and down. I made another appointment for next Saturday to have it looked at again and possibly update the software again if needed. I opened a case with Dodge for further documentation.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? I now regret not getting the V6.

Indeed... Like dhh3 said, you better take it to the dealership and they will recalibrate it for you. Better not to mess with it, let them handle it.
    good luck

    Hi all Journey Lovers,
    I have a question...
Simple question... Are the exhaust on my RT the same as lets say, SXT V6? I have the stock... Thanks.
I really like the sound anyway!
    Thank you

I put my mic right above the rear view mirror in my Nitro. I installed it my self. You unplug the big gray connector from behind the radio, and plug the harness that comes with the Uconnect module into the radio. Then you plug the gray connector into the Uconnect harness. Mount the module, mic, and get it activated. Very simple. I'd give anything to have an RBZ instead of this POS 8.4!

OhareFred: Thank you! I appreciate it. It sucks, i dont have the same top And thanks a lot, I'll see if i can still put it near the light. Amazing spot. dhh3: How did you install it on top? You had to remove the A Pillar and a part of the ceiling and pass the wires near the door and under the steering wheel? Thanks
