I have had my Journey since December 2014. It has been to every scheduled service on time and only has 14,000 miles on it. April 2015 I took it in for shifting issues. I found that it hesitates to down shift on the highway when needing to pass or speed up to merge. The dealers told me in April that the software was up to date. This has been a constant issue that I that I decided to deal with but today I had it happen again when I really needed to punch the gas and nothing happened. I did notice that when I hit the gas the RPM actually went down. I even threw it into manual to knock it down a gear and it wouldn't shift. It seems to be an issue with the transition between 3 and 4 up and down. I made another appointment for next Saturday to have it looked at again and possibly update the software again if needed. I opened a case with Dodge for further documentation. Has anyone else had a similar issue? I now regret not getting the V6.
