  1. You can put 17 or 18 on from a dodge caravan or other Journeys of the same year just as long as they fit the hubs with the bigger dual caliper brakes
  2. I had a wire broken....this is a 13 Journey
  3. Guess so your call...how old is the battery? They can cause issues
  4. Drive the 50klm's take one off your front wheel and try to put one of those on... it would answer your question pretty quick
  5. You want a fluid and filter change NOT a flush....and use Mopar filter and fluid
  6. Don't think performance parts were used in anything but an RT but you could not get a 4 cyl engine in an RT only the 3.6
  7. If they are the ones in the hatchback it could be the wires breaking in the harness running from the body to the hatch. Did you check for power at the light?
  8. 3.6 and 2.4 are different engines I've never had a message HOT OIL with my 3.6
  9. You could try changing the fluids can't hurt I would use only Mopar oil and change the tranny filter also I would stay away from Flushing it just- drain and refill after R&R the filter Transfer case has no filter in it It could also be a bad rear axle driveshaft worn coupling etc..the list goes on
  10. If you haven't had it very long you should take it back and let them handle it Could be the Tcase Tranny , Fuel delivery ,bad driveshaft etc. Wheel bearings are usually noisy when they start to go Reads like somebody dumped a problem good luck
  11. ^^^^^ This....Batteries can cause a lot of issues and it's located in the left front wheel well so it's not an easy driveway job especially in the cold. Get yourself the best battery you can find
  12. Mine are OEM 176000 miles never had a blow out
  13. Tranny fluid so be drained not flushed it can cause a lot of problems When it's drained the filter gets changed also flushing doesn't help a clogged filter. Jiffy Lube shouldn't be messing with a transmission just saying... Good luck
  14. Low Fluid .clogged filter....could be several things has the fluid and filter ever been changed?
  15. Correct my 13 uses the first filter type and it was considerably cheaper OEM than the newer version so I replaced mine with the original OEM that lasted 10 yrs 172000 miles before leaking as the seals dry out or crack or whatever happens. There was no leaking anywhere else as I change my oil and made sure not to use gorilla force to tighten the filter housing
  16. 2013 I just disconnected the neg battery terminal on the firewall then the positive.
  17. Installed the new harness and everything is good again
  18. Waste of your time.....the tranny couldn't handle a hemi it would tear it and the rest of the driveline apart also the added weight. A Journey isn't built for this kind of redo look for another type of vehicle
  19. I've changed the Module......didn't help
  20. Let me know what you find out I have changed the TP Module above the left rear wheel it worked for a bit but has quit again. I always get the same -- at the left rear wheel even if I move the wheels My mechanic friend said it could be the TIPM
