Camshaft position sensor

Recommended Posts

I am having an issue with my 2010 Dodge Journey 2WD 3.6L engine.  I have check engine light for the camshaft position sensor.  I have replaced it twice and cleaned the wires ends on the harness.  It works fine for a day or 2 then its back.  If I unplug the wire-harness and plug it back in it goes away for a while but comes back.  i am also getting errors on the TPS voltage correlation.  Any help would be appreciated.

OP said 3.6!  Just trying to help him out.  I have no idea when the other V6 engines in production were being phased out; all replaced by the 3.6 Pentastar.  In 2011, both the 3.7 and 4.0 (based on 3.5) were still being offered in the Nitro.  There was no 2012 Nitro, but the 2011 Production Year ran through December 2011 to use up all the remaining parts!
