Doors unaligned, and can't be fixed apparently.

Hello. I'm getting headaches with my Freemont 2013 (Well. It's not a Dodge Journey, but almost everything is the same, and there is no enought Freemont owners to have a forum for these)....

The doors are not correctly aligned, and it looks there is nothing I can do.

If I put some pressure on the bottom part of the door, close to where is the striker plate located, it goes to the right position.

I tried to adjust the striker place, but it looks to be not adjustable, as the screw hole, is the diameter of the screw. So, doesn't matter what I do, when I fasten the screws the striker plate goes always to the same position it was before.

The front passenger door, looks to be also getting the same problem as the drivers door, but the difference is still small.

Have you, ever noticed a similar problem, with your Journey/Freemont?

i agree take it to a body shop they will be able to help you out as most of the hinges are welded on now days with only a little amount of adj able to be made. did this happen from an accident or come this way from the dealer being a 2013 id take it back to the dealer as it is a dealer repair for sure.. let us know how you turn out........
