Back Up Camera

Hey Everyone!

Hows it going?

Ive been noticing lately when it rains alot and im driving and im backing up my backup camera on my 2013 journey rt it gets very blurry like you cant see whats behind you I have to keep wiping it every single time when it rains that hard outside

Anyone have this issue or is it only me LOL!

I too have had issues with the camera being coated with road debris. It was particularly bad this winter. I also found that road debris would affect the park assist sensors on the rear bumper as well, also requiring a wipe down. I keep a microfiber cloth in the vehicle to wipe the camera off but I like the idea of water repellant products as Forum members have mentioned.

PS: I wish Chrysler would just mount the camera higher on the door; it wouldn't eliminate the problem entirely but I think it would help. :)
