Summer Solstice
2016 Dodge Journey R/T 3.6 Engine Finally decided to change out the original bulbs. Old, dim, yellow. I can relate. First try, Oxilam 80000L high and low beam set from Amazon. Put in just the low beams and drove for one week. They fit perfect. Light is 6500k. Pattern is excellent. They are much brighter than what they replaced. I would estimate 2-3 times brighter than new OEM. No issues with other drivers. But, they flicker. Not noticeable on the road but sitting still in the driveway facing the garage it is very noticeable. May also be getting worse. After a week, put in the high beams. Same. Given these were purchased thru Amazon, I will not delay in returning them. I also won't invite delay contacting the company. Shame as the light pattern and brightness is excellent. I will update when I try the next brand.
5rebel9
As I was a member of a forum for Dodge Avengers. They use the same wiring as the DJ. MANY posts of flicker when making such a switch to LEDS. This problem over there on that forum has been fixed with a specific brand of resistors being wired into the harness plug. I've also read that with the alphaOBD program, that this can also be fixed under the BCM/lighting heading. I've NOT tried much more than getting pin codes and programming remote fobs with my alphaOBD program. Good Luck and keep us posted Summer Solstice

Summer Solstice
Second set came in 2 days early, arriving this past Tuesday. First though, a final thought on the Oxilam 80000L high and low beam set. After receiving the next set, and using them for a day, I wanted to compare the pattern. While putting the Oxilam low beams back in, 1 bulb would not work. That solidified the decision to send them back. Shipped, refunded, done. On to the next test. 2nd set arrived Tuesday and were installed that night. Fahren Termitor 9005 / 9006. 60000LM. Installed with no issues except getting the bulb exact in the mount. A bit off and the right side would be much lower. A test proved the Oxilam did the same. A couple of times and they have been steady since. The light pattern is much more precise then the Oxilam, with a smooth top cutoff border and discernible points on the road. Not quite as bright as the Oxilam but 6500k with excellent projection down the road. Distance and pattern are likely close to good quality, upgraded OEM. Kick on the high beams and distance clarity is excellent. The bad is that these also flicker. When the vehicle is off, there is no discernible flicker on the white garage door. When the vehicle is running, the flicker is light but is detectable. Not noticeable when driving and difficult to detect when sitting behind someone. As the return window is open till January, I am going to use the included contact information about CANBUS harnesses. I like the lights and want to give the company a chance to address it. I could live with them as is but I would rather fix the problem. Will update as available. Edited November 16 by Summer Solstice
2late4u
you can add some anti/flicker resistors to your lights to stop the flicker or buy led bulbs that have it built into them for your canbus system

2late4u
I have been told not to use led in the hi-beam as that is where your DLR are and your hi beams will stay on all the time,,I just run the led in low beam and reg bulbs in the high beam and haven't had any problems except I have had to replace them 2 times so far but it is a 2014 model
