Ajt23
I've been having crank, no start issues with my 2009 3.5 Journey for a while and finally found a bad ground. I checked out fine when tested before but finally failed completely and shows no continuity. This is the location of the ground, theres 2 wires connected. It's not listed on the wiring diagram but from what I've been able to figure out its ground G105 and goes to the ABS module. I don't know how accurate that is though and they go into a bundle that runs under the air lines and tracing it has been a pain. Im hoping someone knows where it leads so I can check it from the other end and hopefully narrow down the problem.

2late4u
there also should be a flat braided wire going from one of those studs and connects to a stud on the engine mount area as well, they had a service bulletin yrs ago about those wires letting mositer go up the plastic coverings and causing problems as well,,,,I had the recall done on it but just around 3 yrs ago the electronic part of the ABS went bad and they replaced it under my extended warranty when the part finally came in from the out of stock backlog
Dean H
On the 16 DJ. The abs module has 2 ground wires that go to one of those ground studs. The other ground is for right front lighting, horn, radiator fan. Edited Thursday at 10:46 PM by Dean H
