Hello, Today I noticed that after locking the car, the dashboard clocks turn on and off on their own, then turn on again for a few seconds and then turn off again... what could be the reason ? remote key is far from the vehicle and the situation is continues

Thanks in advance. Freemont 3.6

Is radio and remote locks all factory original or has the vehicle been "modified"?

I had a problem similar that dash lights/ driver info screen and 4.3 infotainment screen would shut off as normal and then turn back on and stay on. It turned out to be a defective radio  module. To give a general location Idea , it's where the CD slot is. The center trim and components would need to be removed to gain access to it, but not a hard job.

Hard to say what caused this to happen then. If it only did this one time, I will STRETCH FAR and GUESS that maybe a front door handle was still sensing by passive entry, or a door or handle was not fully closed.

Keep an eye on it when you shut down the car and go to leave the vehicle that it happens again or not.

good luck!

No I've disconnected negative cable from ACU to not to  "kill" ACU.

After diagnose via computer, mechanic saw that there was temporary problem between communication with radio hub (the one which I've replaced one year ago). Do I need to update new radio box (Uconnect) in vehicle computer ? After replacement I've only changed HVAC settings for all sections of AC

There are software updates available for the 8.4. I’ve never been brave enough to try it.

A year is a long time for something to pop up. May have to swap back original no nav screen temporarily.  Lots of issues with driver door harness wires breaking and causing strange issues.
