My inner led lights have three pins. So I hooked them up to the break lights and just the running part worked. Step on the breaks and they still stayed on running light. I think there is a driver inside there that is keeping it from haveing dual intensesity. I wanna open these lights and paint the chrome black but I think they are sealed with perma and not sure if its worth the hasle or not.

I mean you could use them as a break and that's about it. Only can be used as one function. So either a turn signal or a break is your options

I tried using them as well for breaks. But they do infact have three pins so I plugged them into my break and and on the running function worked. Pushed the break and they didn't get any brighter

I have done a few retrofits now and decided to open a shop, figured I'd let my fellow journey guys know that if you want custom headlights done I can do them. It's easy to run wires from the hatch. Pop off the back cover and everything g is exposed. You'll have to pull and there are a few screws inside the dj around the ba k hatch on the back side of the lights. I ran wires up and over to the driver side.

It drones a little but not terrible. But I won't be putting the stock reso back in. I'll be buying the magnaflow resonator. I have 4.5 inch tips

Your crossover pipe looks low. Maybe it is just the angle of the photo

. Yeah just the angle of the photo when I went to the shop he just cut the old.pipes and ran new ones.to.the magnaflows. I questioned the guy doing the exhaust also haha but its all good

I did three coats of vht and three coats of clear. Looks OEM I was going to pai t the chrome black on the tails but that's to much work for just paint. If I open them up I'll probably take out the single leds Nd put in a halo for a nice uniform of red might end up doing this over the winter

Lol no cheap projector headlights. If you know what the retrofit source is than You'll understand. And I was working in a customers house and she had a vinyl shop in her basement and asked her to make me some, honestly do t matter to me if you like it of not cause I love it. And its far from a fart can haha. I retrofitted my own lights. These mini h1 projector will oout perform any ebay headlight. And its just stickers bud don't get your panties in a bunch. And I plastidip my mud flaps. Woo big deal, and as far as the red emblems go I dipped those as well, I don't like the look of stock journeys so I did what I wanted and I think it turned out good. Like I said doesn't matter to me what your opinion is.

I'm sure you could swap bowls with one from theretrofitsource

I have zero cheap mods. I only did the exhaust and painted the calipers red and put in a drop in k&n filter. Other than that I installed projector headlights that are not cheap eBay crap and what Jerry rigging you taking about? Lol

Inside leds have 2/wires. +/- tap into the +/- into the amber turn signal wires and vuala but for the break lights you need that module from dd

Diode dynamics makes the module for the break as turn mod. But I ran new wires to the inner leds and dis those myself.

Bet you the bowls will melt in halogen projector bowls

I actually did the break as turn signal.mod on mine. I deleted the ambdr and put another reverse light in its place and the inner led is turn signal along with the break. Lo e the update I did

Waste of money bet you the output is horrible

I did this to my elantra few years ago when I had it and I liked it better. I might do this to my blacktop

I was doing a plumbing job and the girl has her own shop in her basement. I had asked for scrap peices so I could make my own. I have them on either side. 4 I ches wide and 16 inches long
