I know. It didn't feel right though not the difference in horsepower I could have swore i seen some fluctuations in the rpm without any movement in the peddal

Today I drove it on the highway went to pass someone and I was going 140 while passing and I can't put my finger on it but something felt off like there was nothing left after that I don't remember it being like that before. On the highway I was on last year the speed limit was 120 and I was definely going faster then That with no trouble, or could it be I was used to the 3.7 ltr in the Mazda rental? I don't know anything in that area that could affect speed related issues? I'll just keep an eye on it for now I guess. I know it's only got the 2.4 but it felt perkier before this.

It drives as it did before the accident. Ok I'll check that out today thanks for the tip.

Got it back today. Was done yesterday but I had them realign the front fenders to the hood a bit better and there was a scratch on the hood. I also got to keep the old dodge emblem even though it was salvagable.

^^^ That's what I did to my jeep ^^^. I didn't sand theM or nothing just a light tint to taken the redness away and it looks pretty good imo. I've considered doing the same to my journey but I like the led look so I might get some aftermarket led brake lights later on.

In tinted the outsides of my 94 grand Cherokee and I am very happy.with the results

There is a tiny bit of frame damage where the metal bumper mounts and they do have a frame rack. All my parts showed up today from dodge except the licence plate mount

I'm not sure actually. If they don't they will have to ship it somewhere that does

My dodge buddy said the parts were ordered lol.

I just asked him he said the parts ordered from the dealer and if I wanted to know he would go over the list with me tomorrow.

My buddys dad owns the body shop it's at I'm sure they would tell me if it didn't get oem parts, plus my replacement coverage states I get oem parts for 3 or 4 years I think.

Yes both sides actually I think the entire steel bumper will get get replaced. As well as the metal the steel bumper it attached to is also bent. Like I said earlier the nose is shifted to the passenger side like 1/2-3/4 of an inch so something had to give

Went to grab something from my car today and they pointed out my rad support was bent so they had to evac the ac. Assuming the part the metal bumper is attached to is the rad support.

Is the car that heavy they needed a light hood?

I have insurance to the nines I'll be getting oem replacement for sure I have replacement coverage for 5 years

I don't have money at this time I'd love to. Icbc is gonna put it back to how it was right now. I just got my class 1 so when I'm working again I'll look into it.

So here's some pics. The damage isn't terribly bad but the nose is shifted to 1 side about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch as went as the metal bumper and there's stress cracks in the drivers side you can see in the pic.

What annoys me is a day before I smucked it up I spent 5 hrs washing and waxing it :/

So reading this I got into an accident last week is.the repaint not going to be as good as factory? I'm sure my hood will be repainted as well as 1 or both fenders

Tomorrow I find out the damage value I'll take pics then
