  1. Thats what I'm proud about I have a remote, so no need to wire it down to the dash, just to the battery and that's it.
  2. I'm in - created an account What kind of Pi (type, model, brand) do you recommend?
  3. Yep, phone as display: http://www.amazon.com/Escort-0100014-1-SmartRadar-iPhone-Version/dp/B008LXRA7E Siri doesn't like my accent and voice activated systems never understand me Besides, I don't like them telling me what to do This is neat I'm not aware of solutions like app launcher for iPhone. NFC is still not allowed by Apple as well. There some roundabout solutions to make this working, but they are way too more complicated on iPhone.
  4. Pocket is great, but I personally don't feel comfortable feeling something sized iPhone 6 sitting in the pocket. Besides, I use the phone for nav, to stream music and as escort radar display. So need the device in a plain view.
  5. i still struggle to find the best solution to hold the smartphone in the car. Tried several and ended up with the Ram gooseneck, but not very happy with it. What solution did you chose?
  6. 235/45r20 is the closest to the pen outer diameter and thus gives you almost no error in speedo reading. This is the right diameter if you care about oem sizes. Selection of tires is pretty bad, though in this diameter - Pirelli only.
  7. No issues with visibility. Yeah bar is close enough to the grill to provide a good output. Make sure the pegs are of the right height so the bar is not covered by the bumper. Good luck. PM if any questions.
  8. Their site changed significantly since I purchased the lockpick. At the time I was on the market it showed application for each product and DJ was in the list for AIR2. I did contact support and they were not able to resolve. They did return, though, so no bad feelings about that experience. I never missed LockPick, though
  9. Yep. Peal and stick.
  10. Those are standard . Google B&I dash kits
  11. Buy Mopar. More expensive, but well built and worth it. Chinese will fall apart and fade...
  12. I would agree with Lobitz. I've had plasti dip for a while on the tail lights and was not very happy with the look. Plastidip is sturdy, but it disperses the light output and make it looking unfinished.
  13. This is not a wrap, but custom covers
  14. Didn't touch that areas...
  15. Lol. Damn autospellcheckr! I would call niteshades "less reversible" than film
  16. At almost $300 it is beyond my budget for this mod. I would rather buy the tube off eBay and add the genuine K&N hi flow filter for the total budget less than $80. Why should we pay $200 for a pice of tube, I wonder? Is there any advantage of K&N's vs eBay?
  17. Decided to give it a shot. Received the part being installed today.
  18. One disadvantage of nice shade for me was that this mod is irreversible. I was not sure if I like the blackout, so excluded bite shade from my options list. I tried plastidip product, but it was too mat and diffused the output too much, so the lights didn't look clean... I ended up with tinting film. Learned tinting buy trying and failing, but if you have enough of the film - you can do it. Blackout Tint was a perfect solution to me as the mod is reversible and provides the look I want.
  19. And one more question: what's the tube diameter, sir?
  20. i received a promo from Escort. They offer $100 off 9500ix. I'm not connected to the company and have no vested interest in this promo. Just want to share the opportunity with the community should you were considering Buying a radar detector. The code: ix100 Enter at checkout. Disclaimer: I haven't tried the code myself so use it at your own risk
