Sweet!! Man the 3.6 sounds like a V8!! The Pentastar is an awesome little power plant. Great video...

Sounds like a lot of riding. But at least it was in in style. I am from Atl. also and we just made a trip to Florida and the Journey really shines when you can let them loose. Smooth, quite, tons of storage and plenty of horsepower. I felt like I was driving slow at anything under 75mph, "lol". I do have the 3.6 but the four bangers have their place to.

I just replaced the brakes on my 2011 Mainstreet @ 25000, miles . Replaced all rotors with CENTRIC products , and the pads with POSI-QUIET Ceramic Pads. Best move I ever made . Super clean with no dust problem. The brakes work great now , awesome stopping power . The brakes that came with the car were just not beefy enough for the weight of the car .

I also read your last post about brake issues. Honestly I am having a hard time believing that you put 10 sets of brakes and rotors on your Journey in that short of a time. You say your mechanic has been great, but maybe he's the problem. I would have searched a different solution after a couple sets. I am afraid this forum is not going to be a great place to find support for your little lawsuit...

    So let's recap this thread.
You blame Dodge for lowering the tow ratings on the Journey after a redesign. Don't really seem to be too upset with dealer in first post, just Dodge's fault. Then the dealer is blamed for lying to make a sale. Also, false advertising is alleged when nowhere is it advertised or printed by Dodge that the tow weight is anything other than 2,500 pounds. Lastly, it is clear that you know what the tow rating of your vehicle is at this time and you will choose to ignore it.
Seems to me you started this thread to boast you tow more than what the vehicle is designed for, as even the thread title indicates as much. Now it's all American car manufacturers are struggling because they are deceiving their customers. I find that ironic, considering you started this thread to deceive people that they could tow more because you did it.

To bad about the dealer. Dealers really are suppose to have the best technology to work on cars but unfortunately common sense goes further than all the technology in the world. I really hope they start to use some to get your Journey back on the road without future problems. Good luck...

That's good the dealer is going to fix your Journey without any hassle. Hope it gets you back on the road without any future problems. And I really hate to hear about your friends, as I know all to well of motorcycles and the danger of other people not looking out for them. Me, my wife, and kids witnessed a motorcycle crash last year and the motorcycle rider died later that night in the hospital. I didn't know him but it was a horrific sight and it took awhile to stop thinking about it. Once you think about things like this it kinda makes a problem with a car seem really not much of a big deal.

I love Chrysler vehicles but honestly some of the local dealers here in North Ga. are some of the most crooked, heartless people you could meet. I live only a few miles from our local dealer and they are the worse. But I have had great luck with the Dodge products so I will have to hold back any choice words I might be enticed to say towards them. Keep us posted on the outcome with your Journey....
