<blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Shadowsaint" data-cid="26091" data-time="1360391093"><p> Are these legal?</p></blockquote> I also have the hid kit in my dj......I talked to my uncle who is a leutinent with a sheriffs department and I asked him about the hid kits....his response was that as long as they are not to blue (to resemble a cop) they are ok they also have to have a cut off line the light cannot be scattered. .....the cutoff in the journeys are great and i have yet to gwt into any type of trouble with mine.....but I if you have to question just ask a cop oneday and see what they say but he said that as long as they are in spec he doesnt see why they would be illegal just as long as tou make sure you have every thing in line

Thanks I should be getting back tomorrow and as I told them before there better not be anything else wrong with it......lol.....I just hope everything is fixed and working properly.....miss my journey althiugh I do like the avenger but I miss the size of my journey

Hey corbeils just curious as to whether you got your lights working well. Curious to see the out come of your lights

Well my journey will be in the shop for 2 weeks and I made them give me a loaner vehicle. Since I work and live out of town they said I couldnt take it out of town but since they dropped the bay door on the front of mine I am now in a 2008 dodge avenger for the 2 weeks that mine is in the shop and they let me take it out of town. Car runs great and I kinda like may think about buying it also....lol

Ohbyeah and on top of that they screwed my hid lights and i had to fix those as well......this shop had my car for 1 1/2 days and all the did was manage to tear stuff up and onky fix the cd player and to think I had to take a day off of work for this crap

Yeah they did and are taking care of everything including the payment for the body shop........so my cd player works but they also screwed up the independent air controls the driver side will turn the temp up but not down....the passenger will will turn down but not up......you have to select all the controls you would like to use for the climate through the touch screen not by the dial knobs......so yeah they will be taking care of everything now and I still get to keep a loaner for the 2 weeks that it will be in the shop at their expense

Beyond pissed right now the dealer just called they got my cd player fixed havent started on the lifter yet they have had it for a day and a half now and on top of that some idiot dropped the roll down door across my hood and bent it now it will be in the body shop for 3 days

Thank yall for the comments......I also hope my journey gets back to my family and I without any problems or hassel......just wondering what type of vehicle I will get for a loaner.....hope it at least gets good gas mileage lol

Well its offical my journey will be going into the shop friday for lifters, rockers arms and cd player to be fixed.....hopefully they wont find anything else while they are in the engine will keep everyone posted on the progress......hope everyone continues to have good luck out of their journey.......on a side note everyone the weather is warming up please keep an eye out for motorcycles they are out and about.....lost 2 good great friends last week in a motorcycle wreck because a girl was texting and driving......hope everyone has safe trips and travels

Never got a code at all but they wouldnt stay on till I put the cancellers in and now I havent had any problems....been fully I stalled for about 2 weeks

What all did you install with your kit.....I also had problems with my kit but they work great now.....my kit includes 8000k color......55watts......relay harness 40 amp relay with a 20 amp inline fuse.......and a set of code cancellers

Yeah man that sucks I didnt ecen ask about a loaner vehicle the guy told me it would be in for a couple of days getting everything fixed. He said when you drop off the one there will be a vehicke waiting for you to drive. Well I wasnt going to complain about that, and to think this isn't even the dealee I bought my journey from. I will be purchasing my next vehicle from them even though I do live about 3 hours from them now.

No mine does it all the time hot or cold and idle it does it no matter what so when it was in to get cd player replaced I asked him about this and he said that the lifters needed to be replaced and that if there is any damage done to the motor then it will get fixed when its in there he said that it would be in there for a couple of days and they are going to provide me with a loaner vehicle to drive while mine is being repaired
