  1. She is coming home Sunday morning at 8:30 with hospice transport. She is so tired and weak. She is trying to be strong like she used to be and fight this, but she can't and she can see that. It is so hard for her right now because she is still with it and knows whats going on with her. Today, my step daughterhad to tell her 4 year old son that his "Nernie" (Grandmother) was so sic that the Drs couldn't heal her but that Jesus could and that she would be going to heaven to be with Jesus. I bet that was the hardest thing she ever had to do. No one should ever have to do that. This is starting to wear on me more and more. I don't know how much longer I can hold up.
  2. She was pretty stable Tuesday morning that they let her go home. We lasted 10 hours there and I had to bring her back to the hospital where we waited in the ER from midnight until 8 pm Wednesday night. She was running a 102.5 temp and really drained and confused. The ER was the worst care I have ever seen. They didn't give her anything for the fever until Wednesday after noon. They didn't give her the antibiotic she needed all day and they did feed her thru her feed tube or flush her biliary drains all day and they got clogged and weren't draining which cause more infection. Horrible experience all together. They finally got us in a room and got her comfortable again but we have been waiting to hear from the Dr since we got back here. She did enjoy being home the little while she was there though.
  3. Thank you for this wonderful tribute to your Wife. It is almost word for word what I needed to hear. God has been in this for years now, I just never saw it. I had a great job with the county and it had great benefits as well. I got let go for a dumb reason ( close to being vested for life in the county after 10 years) and I got fired for not filing paper work 24 hours after and incident. Anyway, My step son was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma and I was off and was able to cash in my retirement and take the year off to be with him and take him to his chemo appointments and scans which lasted about a year. Just that alone was a blessing in disguise because I had worked the night shift for 10 years and my wife day shift. I only seen her on the weekends. This gave us the family time we had been missing. my son is in remission from his cancer and I got back to work Dec 2013 where I sold cars at a Dodge Chrysler Ram Jeep dealership. I worked there 3 months and got injured on the job and had to have hip and both knee surgeries. Needless to say, I have been off work and on workers comp since March 2014 because insurance takes too long to do surgeries (a year to do my right knee) and I have spent the last two years with my family and we have been managing pretty good with just my wife working. She was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer on June 30th this year. Drs had given her a year to live and after the surgery and some complications, she now has months. They let us come home to live out the rest of the days she has left to be with family after 51 days in the hospital. Again, I was off and able to be with her 24-7 at the hospital and now at home. She is and has always been a strong person and always did for others before herself. We were the Childrens Church pastors at our Church, and she was an Activity Director at an assisted living / alzhiemer's home. She lived to help others and that's who she was. She went from taking some vacations days to get some tests done at her Drs office to major surgery and cancer.
  4. Hello everyone, i hope this post find you well. On June 30th my wife was diagnosed with a terminal cancer. A routine biopsy of a benign cyst on her pancreas lead to finding a cancer had spread to her liver thruoght the bile ducts. After a Whipple procedure to reroute the ducts and adding three bilillary drains and two gall bladder drains her bilirubin count has remained high. The Drs have done all they can and are sending us home after 50 days at the hospital. She has been through a lot and has had many complications during her stay at the hospital. The Surgeon is sending her home to spend her last days with family. He said he expects her back because she will get worse and when she comes back they will start her on hospice care unless we do home hospice care. We are not ready for this. It all happened so fast! We just had a grand baby 2 months ago. We are in our early 40s and Wow, this happens. Tomorrow is bitter sweet, we get to finally go home but also the beginning of the end. I have been out of work on a work related injury for a year now, and she was the only income. Now she is only getting 60% of her income on short term disability. It's pretty rough and the bills keep coming in. Our church has set up a " youcaring.com" account but I could not link it here. I also have a PayPal account where we are taking donations. If you can please help out where you can. We need your Prayers and your Support! Thank you and God Bless you! My PayPal address is. Icanbe_reached@hotmail.com Youcaring.com name: Loving Lenurma
  5. I have entered many car shows with previous cars. It is exciting and a rush but no chance of winning. "Big pockets" car customization shop puts on a show and guess who wins all the trophies? Yep, mr Big pockets gets all the prizes. But that's just what losers say, lol.
  6. As long as everything sits flat, (the wheels, spacer, hub) and its hub-centric adapters. Just make sure the wheel studs don't stick out past the spacer. I shaved mine about 1/8th" to sit flush.
  7. This sound is louder than the injector noise. I have taken the insulated cover off and heard the injectors rattling but this is even louder than that.
  8. I started hearing a ticking on my 2011 2.4l. It does it at acceleration and decell. Not during normal driving. Am I looking at the same problem? It started right after my alternator went out. I replaced the alternator and after that it started ticking.
  9. Welcome. R/T is a good starting point for Blacktop. Dealership is the only place I have seen the tinted taillights. I have seen the black grill and black headlights on eBay.
  10. I love my '11. I even got my Bro in law to buy one. Except he one upped me ( maybe even 10 upped me). He got a fully loaded, leather, 2015 DJ CrossRoad.
  11. It appears to have the "Race Track" taillights like the Durango, Charger, and Dart.

  13. It does look pretty good.
  14. Love it! Really diggin' the wheels.
  15. I saw two modded DJ in an empty parking lot hanging out and I was wondering if there were any clubs in the area. I wish I could have stopped but i was running late for a Dr appt. I have friends in clubs that have air ride vehicles and my DJ is not in that genre. I might even be interested in starting one, ha.
  16. Awesome headlights! I have been wanting to see those on a Journey.

    Welcome to the forum.
  18. You might want to remove your comment about being distracted by the center console. Thier insurance company might use it to not be completely at fault. I had $2500 worth of damage with just someone bushing across my front bumper. A door and fender sounds more expensive.
  19. I will change the plugs on the next paycheck. I will take pix. I have lost some mpg though. I did find my manual. I had finagled one from a trade in I took one time. A lot of good stuff in there , lol.
