  1. just found these on ebay.. http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Daytime-Running-Light-DRL-Fog-Light-Driving-Lamp-White-for-Dodge-Journey-/161379281738?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ADodge%7CModel%3AJourney&hash=item2592f46b4a&vxp=mtr
  2. Nice job, looks great! I have my whole journey dipped matte black, Im also a DYC authorized installer.
  3. You need a 50watt canbus hid kit, mine also cost me about $120 -$140. I had a 35watt version and even after getting error decoders and inline canbus capacitors, the bulbs woudn't stop flickering until I upgraded my ballasts.
  4. I just replaced my fogs to 6000k cree LED's. Have 8000k 50watt canbus hid kit for low beams. Im looking to disable my day time running lights from the highbeams and make my fogs into DRLs. Also have all turn signals, brake, reverse lights and marker lights switched to LEDs
  5. is this for all canadian tire locations across canada or just your local area?
  6. i found these as well a few days ago but im not planning on putting out $500-$800 for these maybe if they were around $200... so far theres 2 postings on ebay. please post pics whoever does buy them and install them!!
  7. I just put 22s on mine, the tire size is 265 40r 22. The front tires rub when turning so im going to have to change them to 30 or 35. gives it a nice mean aggressive look and hides the wheel well space good.
  8. ive found this listing on ebay and contacted the seller, he said it is for the journey although the picture in the ad shows a nitro. still debating on whether i should buy it or not. http://www.ebay.com/itm/09-13-Dodge-Journey-Bull-Sport-Bar-Grill-Bumper-Guard-Stainless-BLACK-HORSE-/251371542462?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ADodge%7CModel%3AJourney&hash=item3a86e957be&vxp=mtr
  9. theres a few threads on here talking about cai for the journey, some people used a piece of pvc plastic to cover the hole.
  10. The 2 slots in the add a circuit are for 2 different fuses, so you have two 10amp fuses they dont add too 20amps, you've just added another 10amp fused circuit thats all. And for the door lights im not sure about which wire it is, you're going to have to check the wiring manual and look at which wires lead to the led lights and back to the main harness, also check where the connections are to the dimmer. Sorry i cant be more of help on that specific subject. Let me know if you have any other questions.
  11. By under the dash do you mean where the accelerator/brake pedals are? and are you just using 2-wire led strips or do you have a kit (ex. led glow footwell light kit)?. easiest way to connect to the fuse would be by using an "add-a-circuit", google it for more info. i believe the '10 journey uses mini type fuse not sure about the '12, most likely the same.
  12. yes the avenger intake from K&N will work all you have to do modifying wise is cover a hole where the air snorkel goes, its made for the avenger so on the journey its in a odd spot other than that its a direct fit!

    Where do you live?

    Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada
  14. lol yeah thats true. I see a lot of people everyday with anywhere from 95% tint to 20% on the front driver/passenger windows even though its illegal here and in most other provinces in Canada, but some cops don't care/enforce it as much as other. As soon as I cross the border into Sumas, WA I see CBP and local police + regular citizens with 5% tint all around on their vehicles.
  15. im doing a few mods to my journey that require wires to go from inside the suv into under the hood area. Anybody know of any firewall holes that are accessible?
  16. you can plasti-dip the chrome grill black instead of just buying a black one, then if you decide you don't want it black, just peel off the pasti-dip and you'll get your chrome back shiny like new! (pasti-dip will remove all dirty or w.e left on the grille making it look brand new)
  17. my r/t came with 20% tint only in the rear passengers 2nd&3rd row + tailgate glass, all other windows have no tint at all since its against the law in BC to have the front driver/passenger windows tinted at all
  18. From the album: Journey R/T

door handles are chrome, just bad lighting

Rear view of journey. plasti-dip smoke on taillights, with black plasti dip on whole car giving it a matte black colour.
  20. Hey guys ive been plasti-dipping vehicles for about 2 years now, everything from emblems to whole cars. Plasti-dipping the rims will in fact protect them from rusting and corrosion from the salt on the roads during the winter time. My dodge journey is plasti-dipped matte black, everything except the roof and chrome accents including the rims is covered in plastidip, but before winter i will be plasti-dipping the rims and blacking out all the chrome. msg me if you guys have any questions.
  21. Did you have to remove the front bumper to install the grille? Also i love what you did with the headlights, is that just regular vinyl tint cut to shape and placed on?
  22. okay so this topic from last year confirms the avenger air intake will fit with a little bit of modification : http://www.dodgejourneyforum.com/topic/979-caicold-air-intake/
  23. I mean the engine bay looks the same as the 3.6L and the avenger air box location looks like its the same location as the journey's
