Welcome from a new Lux owner. I agree with UPMedic. I traded in a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with V8. The Journey seems like it has just as much pep. Good luck with your new Journey.
Man! I figured someone would know the answer to this. It was a very simple fix in my 2005 Dodge Ram but can't seem to find a word about it in the manual.
Does anyone know if you can turn off the auto-lock door locks when the car reaches 15MPH? I know it is a safety feature but I would still like the option. I was able to do this on my 2005 Dodge Ram with the key fob. Instructions were in the manual that told you how to do it.
Picked up my wife's red Lux this past Friday. So far we are very impressed with the construction, performance and "electronic toys." We ordered the old fascia model but it came in with the new front and rear. It looks good.
Chrysler products have a big problem with warped rotors. Plus it doesn't help if the tire guys use an impact wrench putting the lug nuts on. Not sure of the limited speed problem but have heard the same complaint from some Dodge Ram owners.
Wanted to say hi. Just registered today. I pick up my new 2011 Lux tomorrow. Just found out mine came in with the new front and rear bumper treatment. Not sure yet if I like it as well as the "old" style. Also found out that the dark cherry crystal pearl paint is no longer available. Wondering what happens if we have a fender bender. Not a good way to start off. I also have a 2005 Rumblebee Ram 1500 truck.
