  1. I'm still around 21L/100kms 100%city driving on an R/T with 15k kms on the clock. I'm tempted to return it next year when the lease is over but I feel sorry giving it back with such low mileage
  2. They just changed mine at 15k kms. I don't mind getting the repair I just got mad because it stained my new driveway pavers
  3. Could this problem be causing my journey to show its burning too much fuel?
  4. Don't worry I get the same at 100% city. At least I'm not the only one. On the highway I've gotten under 10L/100kms. I'm at around 20L/100KMs right now
  5. Can anyone with an RT with the pen taster share their economy numbers. Seems that everyone getting old mileage has FWD journeys
  6. Right now using the remote start often I've been up to 33L/100kms according to the evic. I reset it often maybe I should leve it alone. Does the evic use the avg economy to calculate dte? But even at that I reset the trip and I have NEVER managed to get an avg tank passed 380kms
  7. I'm back up to 21.5L/100kms on my R/T AWD... this is ridiculous
  8. Mine is an AWD the EVIC has been reporting 18.9L/100kms lately
  9. I know the feeling. The ododmeter just turned 10000kms and I'm down to around 18-19L/100kms according to the EVIC. STill crappy, I was expecting closer to 15L/100Kms...
  10. Maybe but if th compressor was the problem, wouldn't it ruin my highway mileage as well? On the highway I can bring it down to about 9L/100kms. Very weird. We are expecting this summer so she won't be needing her car soi will be taking it more often and I will see if maybe my wife is the problem, lol
  11. I'm still at around 21-22L per 100ks. I still can't believe Chrysler didn't give a shit about my problem and just brushed me off. As for te numbers they were independently done but they like using those in their advertisements, don't they.
  12. Unfortunately, I'm still at around 22L/100kms. I took it to the dealer, dealer said that was wayyy to much (Ya, thanks genius!). Anyway, I call Chrysler made aq complaint stating that my CITY fuel economy was wayy off. I told the guy my numbers and even he was surprised. He told me to take it to the dealer to do a test. So the dealer told me to drive it and do 3 fill-ups and mark down my mileage at every fill-up. So I did and I averaged 22.5L/100kms. They guy freakes. There is something wrong, I will send the results to Chrysler and wait to see what they say. Few days later dealer calls me back and tells me I need to bring it back on a day the temp will be above 0 Celcius for a road test. The head tech takes it hooks up a computer mounted to the windshield that calculates fuel economy. Chrysler tells him to do a test ON THE HIGHWAY 100kms at 77 KM/H. I was like WTF?? I said CITY mileage my highway was fine. They told me that's Chrysler test. So what do think happened> My car passed the test, Chrysler calls me to say we aren't doing anything to the car it is within spec. I responded to calling them crooks and liars and that they don't give a rats butt about their customers or complaints. The only good part is if it doesn't get better with time, I took a short lease and I only have it for 2 more years. Thanks Chrysler. BTW, I took it on a small road trip (about 400kms round trip) I managed to get it down to 10l/100KM. Another thing the head tech at the dealer told me is that synthetic is NOT good for the engine because it messes with the cams and stuff.
  13. I checked the Esso pumps and they now also put up to 10% ethanol. I checked it today, economy was at 23.4L/100kms :heartbreaker:
  14. Thanks bramfrank. I usually fill up at Ultramar since they is 2 of them near my house and it's cheaper there. I fill it up for her when it gets to half or a bit less than half. She takes l'acadie down from chomedey back and forth all the way to rocklands. Sometimes at night she'll take the 15 back up. She lets it run in the morning and evening with the remote start. She's not an aggressive driver that's why i find it weird that the economy is screwed up. Even when I take it and feather it, it still burns a lot. The dealer told me to mark my odometer and keep my gas receipts for the next 3 fill ups to test the fuel economy. We'll see what happens
  15. Yes, I checked it once and the EVIC is 95% correct. I did a manual calculation once and the EVIC was correct. I don't know what documentation they might need. I will try to call them and see what they say.
  16. Well about 1000 after the synthetic oil change and 6400kms on the odometer I filled it up last night and her avg economy was at 24.2L/100kms!!!! I went to the dealer last week and they did a "reset" on the computer. Basically they reset the Adaptives but it didn't make a difference. The service manager said that if that didn't help there was nothing else he could do. Is there somewhere I can call or something I can do? We love the car but this fuel economy is killing me. I didn't get rid of a v8 grand Cherokee to save 6l per 100 when I should be saving about 15l/100km according to the window sticker
  17. All city, I have never seen over 400kms, even with the low fuel light on, I was at 390. Average is about 340kms with a 1/4 tank left
  18. Maybe if the economy numbers were more correct, I may have bought something else. Very few cars meet the posted figures, but VERY few are off by 9L/100kms. My wife drives it and she's the complete opposite of a aggressvice driver
  19. Changed the oil last week. She did about 190kms. Maybe too soon but the economy is still at 22L/100Kms. I spoke to the service manager and he said the onnly thing he can do is reset the computer to factory specs and see if that helps. I WISH i could get 15.5L hell I'd be glad to get 16L/100kms. When I first bought it, I did so with the expectations of getting 15-16L/100km. Never expected it to get the advertised 13.3L/100kms. Is there any agencies I can complain to? There must be something because there's a HUGe difference between 13.3L and 22L/100kms. Other than that we both love the car and features. I even just put on my 17" wheels and winter tires. I figured the winters are softer maybe get better economy?
  20. I checked it last night 22.1L/100KM. I guess the remote starter isn't helping matters either. Going in for an oil change this week.
  21. I have 4600kms and I'm still averaging 21.1L/100kms. This is crazy... I'm going for an oil change next week.
  22. As soon as she hits 5000kms, I already have a 5 qt jug of mobil1 waiting for it. I was thinking the same thing the other day. I went to the dealer and they said they can't do anything and to just give it time to break in...
  23. I just passed 4000kms on it and I'm still at 20L/100Kms city. This is getting stupid, I'm scheduling a appointment with my dealer. This can't be normal and the engine can't be not broken in. Hell, her brother's Ram does 18L/100kms in the city and I do 20L/100kms in my SRT8 300 (and my foot isn't light)
  24. My highway mileage is where it should. I need some all city driving feedback with AWD. Please mention if its FWD or AWD.
