  1. isnt awd an option on the crew? on the next tank i will calculate it the old fashion way. i had reset my trip computer so i will do the math and get back to you. Funny thing is on the highway i reset it for a 10 km drive and i was doing 8.5-9L/100km
  2. But even at that I was expecting around 15L/100Km not 21.5L/100kms! I drive an SRT8 300 and I get a combined mileage of 18L/100km!
  3. Probably around 400KM maybe less. It's an AWD what are you guys driving. Everyone mentions fuel economy but barely nobody says if its FWD or AWD. But even at that, it can't be a 8L/100km difference...
  4. My wife just passed 2000kms on an AWD and she still averages 212.5-22L/100KMS!!!!!! This is ridiculous. I call ed the dealer and they said that it hasnt been broken in yet and it should get better by the 5000km mark...
  5. Not letting warm up, I understand. Shutting it down while waiting for someone, I agree. But shutting it down at stop lights, cmon! That's excessive IMO. How much gas could you possibly save doing that? If you forget to restart, the people behind won't stop honking at you!
  6. Wow, no offence but that's crazy. I want to save money but not that badly, aren't you going just a little bit overboard?
  7. My Father in law has a set of versado CUV's for the last few months, about 4000 kms all highway miles and he's so far impressed. That's a good thing because he's VERY picky when it comes to these things. Do yourself a favor if you can and buy them in the US. You'll save a lot
  8. I got lucky and found a set of Town and country takeoff 17s for 450$ in the US(shipped to the border). I also got 4 TPMS sensors brand new OEM from the US (shipped here) for 95$USD. When the time comes for the winters I'm definetly getting them from the US. We get raped here on the prices!
  9. Congrats, we love ours too, although the wife just got used to having no key to turn
  10. I kinda figured that. But what do I tell them? they'll probably think I'm full of crap!
  11. She doesn't go crazy, she's good with her cars and doesn't speed. I kept it easy and I still saw the mileage jump back up to 16L/100kms. No kickdowns or rapid starts....
  12. I took it on the highway for about 10-15 kms @ 100km/h and i managed to drop it to around 9.8L/100km :surrender:
  13. That's what I thought. If I can get it down to 15L/100kms I\ll be more than happy since her old jeep did 30L/100km!!!
  14. Can it be that much more thirsty because of the AWD? The EPA estimate difference is 1-2 mpg...
  15. Do you guys have AWD or a FWD 3.6L? Forgot to mention I have AWD. She has stop and go traffic every morning and sometimes coming back home. So far I did some highway this weekend and today and i'm down to 18L/100km but I think it's still wayyyy off...
  16. Yes they are, they are the same from 2009-2011 except my driver's side has 2 hooks and the floormat has only one in the middle. Weathertech hasn't made them with 2 holes yet. I emailed them and they said to send a email and they wil let me know when they get them.
  17. This is crazy! I just filled up. Avg was 20.4L/100KMS!!!!!!! after fill-up DTE was 385kms! I know my wife, she doesn't drive with a heavy foot but she does get stuck in traffic in the morning but not for long. I filled up, drove to my buddy's restaurant and back home. Total trip was about 6-7 kms max, I was FEATHERING the gas pedal and the avg displayed was 25L/100KMS. I'm starting to think that something is not right here...
  18. if anyone is interested, i have posted dome pics of my journey in the gallery
