That's frustrating...I was told that the dealers have access to a "shared" Technical information Database. It lists reported problems and the resolution. Doesn't sound like it is working very well. Keep after them. I got lucky and mine went off in the parking lot AFTER the first time they said "No issue found". I left it honking by the front door. The Manager asked me to turn it off and I threw the keys to him and said be my guest. It was satisfying to see him fumble around to get it to stop.

It is a "known" issue. My dealer replaced both FOBs (not needed) and also replaced the "module" . That's all the info I got. I did resolve the issue.

Did the dealer replace your valve....I just had the top piece break off one of mine as well....tire went flat and I had a tire shop install a rubber valve for now. please let me know if they gave you a hard time or if they said that they have seen others break too.

I had this issue...they replaced the Module and both FOBs.....No issue anymore.

I towed a loaded tent trailer with a full water tank. It pulls okay. I don't think it will be a problem for short haul trips. 3500 lbs is a number they select to cover their a$$. It will pull more if you take it easy.

We did have an alarm problem with ours... Occasionally It would go off when we pressed the unlock button and you couldn't get it to turn off. They replaced a part in the car as well as both keyfobs.

I have the CURTIS hitch...it was easy to install and looks good and the dealer paid Van and Truck World to install it. I would have preferred the OEM hitch because it is hidden more but my DEALER is stupid and told me there was no OEM hitch available. Menzie's in Whitby, ON. When I am in park and try to rev the engine (quick shot of gas) the RPMs climb quickly to 3500-4000 but then then stay there and sllloowwwwlllyy drop back down? Does your Journey do this?? I am used to being able to rev an engine and have it rev and then return to idle quickly. This just seams weird to me.

do you have any other symptoms? When I am in a parking lot and just using the gas lightly the vehicle will jerk when I let off the gas. I tried to describe it as driving a manual tranny in 1st and accelerating then taking your foot off the gas quickly and it jerks to slow down. Know what i mean??

Ok Chaps....where are you so I can bring you my POS? I need a tranny and someone to fix speed wobble.

Yes 20k warranty on the original pad and rotors. Keep in mind they will say... "No brake issues." every time until you hit 20001 kms then they will say "Your brakes are dangerously worn out."

I feel your pain. I have these issues: 1. Shitty transmission - hard shifts (2nd - 3rd) , cluncks into gear (intermittent) and gear searching at 60 kph. 2. Seat and steering wheel shake like a cold dog at 8 kph -120 kph I am tired of hearing "That's normal" or "I can replicate the issue." This is my first and last Dodge. Everyone that asks me how I like it I tell them the truth to spare them the aggravation. I like to do this in the showroom as I wait to have my car looked at. I am on a 4 yr lease. Anyone know how I can get out?

I went and picked up the Hercules Avalanche Extreme. 215/70/R17 http://www.herculestire.com/catalogHercule...ancheSUV_LT.asp Seem to handle the snow and ice really well with an acceptable highway noise. Too soon to see how they wear. Oshawa 2nd time around (bought New) - $140/tire = $637 total.

I get hard shifting and clunking but not the same issue as you. I really wish mine would get a hard fault. Then the knuckleheads at the dealer would finally "feel" the issue.

I tried many times.... finally I did? Key ON, push the pedal 1, 2, 3 (and hold it down), wait to see no "Oil Change" indicator and then Lock. What a stupid reset.

In Canada I was told that there is a 20,000 Km warranty on brakes.

I have seen a bunch on the road around here... but i am noticing that the dealer ads are not pushing them like they were previously. Most times the Journey is not even listed.

I am not an expert on this...but... When we downloaded tunes from iTunes it would not let us copy them to the car. It was because when you download to a computer it is only that computer that can play the file...licensing or something. Anyway, I am sure someone can tell you how to get past this.

I had the same issue but it is now resolved.. The dealer replaced both keyfobs and a security module (?). Hasn't happened in months now.

I hate it when they say..."That's Normal" or "Can't feel it" or "Its not posting any codes." My questions are ...Normal compared to what?? other Journeys, other Dodge vehicles or all your competitors vehicles. Also...How bad does it have to be to post a code?

I live in Oshawa. I did notice that the journey window motors seem very weak. Gets a little cold and they are really slow.

My clunking is getting worse. I feel it on up shifts. I feel it on down shifts.. When trying to stay at 60 Kph it jiggles like it can't decide what gear to use. The other day I was pulling out into traffic and gave it some gas to get up to speed and it jumped around like a jack rabbit until i let off and then back on. I am sick of this vehicle. It depresses me to think that I have 3.5 years left on my lease. What a mistake.
