In Ontario we need a front plate....All the Journeys have a plastic front mount already installed by Dodge.

I hear ya... on Friday I am driving from Toronto to Erie,PA for a family weekend away.. I actually am not looking forward to 5 hours of driving my Journey. It really frustrates me....It will be shuttering at highway speeds and shifting like crap when the tranny warms up.

Same here.... I have all kinds of transmission imperfections that cause rough driving and clunking. BUT because there is no error code being posted the dealership "can't feel the issue." I get so tired of fighting to get this issue resolved. I am so glad that I leased it and didn't buy it. I hope the tranny explodes one day so then the dealership "might" have a clue as to what is broken.

They fixed mine a couple weeks ago. Still nice and quiet.

They replaced both of my keyfobs and also an "alarm module" in the Journey. Only time will tell if this resolves the issue.

Do you know if they are putting a different muffler on or is it the same type just re-engineered? I haven't heard why replacing my exhaust system fixed it.

Just got mine back from the dealer. They replaced the entire exhaust system. The 2000 rpm noise is gone. For now anyway.

Also can anyone clarify this for me..... I was told that the Trailer package actually did NOT include the hitch. It is just an oil cooler and wiring. True or False. That is why my dealer paid Van & Truck world for my Curt Hitch and receiver. Thanks.

I have the 6cyl. SXT no trailer package...just a Curt Hitch. I towed a tent trailer fully packed even with the water tank filled without any issues. Pulled nice. Also pull a boat often (approx 1500+ lbs) without issue.

NiceTrip, I am getting the pause issue from 2-3rd mainly. Too long and deceleration....feels like a Manual shift. No fix yet.

Hello...Sorry for the delay. Just tried to remove them tonight for you. If you take the hand screws completely out and wiggle the bar you will see the bottom clasp open up and it will give you enough play to remove the cross bars. Hope this helps.

Twice I had the low fuel light and all I could fit was 60 litres. So 15 litres was left in it. Approx. 3.963011889035667107001321993963 gallons.

The noise I and I believe Texann are referring to is during light acceleration and it is a longer sound (not the short grr when turning left). This noise for me happens if the vehicle is under light acceleration and as it passes 2000 rpm. eg. cruise set at 80 km/h and it slowly needs to accelerate up a grade...as soon as the tach hits 2000 rpm there is a grrrrrrrrrrrrrr that will stay as long as the tach is around 2k rpm. (doesn't matter what gear or what speed.) Light acceleration and 2000 rpms seems to be the trigger for the grrrrrrrrr sound.

I made a left turn and my elbow slipped of the arm rest and I bumped it into reverse...travelling at about 40 kph. made weird sound and I pulled it back into drive. I was surprised that it moved into reverse...I would have expected it to go to Neutral only.
