  1. I was able to get the wiper arms off and reposition them! It took a while for me and my buddy to figure it out, but what we did is have the nut loose on the thread, and then just hit it with a hammer, and then wiggle it back and forth. It then came off!
  2. Hi. Has anyone ever removed their front wiper arms? If so, how did you do it? I’ve been trying to get mine off so I can realign my wiper arms since the driver side wiper keeps hitting the A pillar because of it being too high when in the park position. I tried using a wiper arm puller and it wouldn’t fit because of the cowl panel, and then I made the stupid mistake of trying to force it to fit and then ended up cracking the plastic on the cowl panel. Any suggestions?
  3. Exactly what I was thinking. I currently have the headliner out, and now I have better access to the harness for the headliner.
  4. Here is a quick comparison of the two. As you can see, the glass on the original sun visor broke, lol. I also didn’t even notice that the new sun visors I bought also included Homelink, which should work since it’s already a transmitter itself. As you can see, it is just a red positive wire and a black negative wire, not too much of an headache when it comes to wiring these up. FYI, this is not an easy project. You have to drop the headliner a bit on the front so you can run the wires from up top. Also, I was having trouble fitting the sun visors on at first, but then I found out that there is a little tiny route where the they mount to the roof, and that’s where the wires are supposed to go. If you don’t have the wires going through there, the sun visor won’t mount properly because of the wires being in the way. One downside though, the driver side sun visor wires are way too short, so it’s gonna be tricky doing this one.
  5. Hello! I have a 2015 Dodge Journey SE and it was not equipped with the vanity mirror lights that are typically located inside the sun visors. I bought both new (to me) sun visors that are equipped with the vanity mirror lights, and after closer inspection, the wiring shouldn’t be too hard. Both sun visors have a positive and negative wire (which is for the vanity mirror lights). I should be able to tap both wires to the front map lights and hopefully that’s it. Besides all of this, I’m also going to be completely redoing my 'pre-sagging' headliner in black, so I’ll most definitely be doing the sun visors in black too. The headliner project will be included in a separate thread later on, so be ready!
