  1. I just installed some LED headlight bulbs. What a difference. I went from barely visible, to daylight on the road. I highly recommend this upgrade. I used Beamtech bulbs. They can be found on Amazon for less than forty bucks. No loud fans.
  2. My fob was low enough that it wouldn't unlock my doors anymore and I never got a warning anywhere.
  3. I have the same color. It's great. Welcome.
  4. Is that with stock mufflers? It sounds pretty ballsy.
  5. The 3-5 horsepower a typical K&N drop-in is good for, isn't enough to be felt. That doesn't mean it's not working.
  6. I think some of your gain is just from the improved runner design. They look like mini headers. I do believe even modern cats do clog up the flow a little. Not as much as they used to, but better flow will be had without them.
  7. The RWD 3.6 applications get different intake manifolds, exhaust routing, and a different tune. That's how they squeak out the extra horses. It proves there's more hidden in the Journey's 3.6, but there's no easy way to get to it. Not without aftermarket support.
  8. I think a K&N filter would pick up a couple of horses, but nothing you can feel. If you were to go to a reputable exhaust shop, you could have them upgrade all the pipes to 2.5" with high flow mufflers and pick up another couple of horses. Overall, there isn't much aftermarket support for these vehicles, unfortunately.
  9. Sketchy. H&R makes a kit for the Journey, but it's only for older models. I'm not sure what the spring differences are between a 2018 and a 2015, but apparently they're different enough not to work on the later models. I remember a guy trying some out on his newer Journey and they put it way too low in the front and wouldn't even fit the rear.
  10. I don't think square tips in round holes is a good idea. Even if you get them to fit, it'll look pretty goofy.
  11. I agree it will lose some space inside, but I actually really like the looks of this rendering. The problem is that it's a short-sighted design; by the time 2023 rolls around, the Charger won't look like this anymore. They won't mimic an old design for the front of a new car. So even though this looks pretty good, if they bring the Journey back, it probably won't look anything like this.
  12. So far the replacements I bought have been much better. I got a little bit of fogging in one of them after a touchless car wash. I figure the water pressure forced some moisture in that unit, but it dried out about an hour later. Overall, much better than the fish tanks that were the stock headlights.
  13. Same color as mine. Great choice.
  14. I debadged mine shortly after I bought it, installed some LED license plate bulbs, and then replaced the leaky OEM headlights with identical units. I may do exhaust and a K&N at some point, but other than that, there's not a lot to do to these things.
  15. This was an interesting read, regarding the different suspension setups. I have a 2018 Crossroad and I believe it was marketed as having "performance suspension." I wonder if that means it has the stiffer springs and sway bars. The Journey has a bit of body roll around corners, but I'm used to a modified SRT-4, which has almost no roll at all. My experience with handling is a little biased.
  16. I debadged it this weekend. One of the letters had been pulled off by a previous owner, so I just pulled the rest of them off. I prefer the smoother look.
  17. Coming from the Neon and Jeep communities, I see nothing wrong with these forums. A little bit of sarcasm shouldn't upset anyone. Sounds like the internet just isn't this guy's place.
  18. Well, I remedied the situation for now. At least until my cheap replacements start leaking. I threw an extra layer of silicone on these just in case.
  19. Well, we finally got a nice day, so I washed it and took some pictures. The color comes out more blue in pictures; it's more gray in real life. It's a cool color. I just put new headlights on it, because the stockers were full of water.
  20. Anyone else have this issue? I just ordered a new set of lights off of eBay. I'm going to cake the seams with silicone before installing, with the hope that this won't happen again.
  21. It definitely looks like some sort of temp sensor. I'm not sure which one, though.
  22. I think the car is mad about the stickers and is deciding to rebel.
  23. The connection on mine is really spotty. Sometimes it works fine, others...not so much.
