  1. Yeah i would imagine this is a normal issue that doesn't require fixing considering that this topic started in 2012, and my 2016 Journey's fuel monitor doesn't show full either. Good to know!
  2. Mine also doesn't have any holes at the bottom. 2016 journey blacktop edition.
  3. Well shit, I don't know then lol. I'd say it's 2 speakers, if the car had Onstar or something but it doesn't so I'm clueless.
  4. If I have to guess, I'd say the sensors for the auto-dimming of the mirror, are in there.
  5. I see these two little vents on my rear view mirror. Anyone know what they're for?
  6. Was your clunking happening while going straight, or only while turning? Because mine ONLY happens if i'm making a right hand turn, while going downhill, and hitting a bump. So basically when all of the weight is shifted to the front driver side.
  7. Any updates? My dealer is the king of "nothing is wrong".
  8. Thanks will do. I'll remind them to keep it open, so that when i go past my warranty, I won't have to pay for it hopefully. Only 3000kms left of warranty.
  9. Thanks for the update. Let me know what happens. I brought mine in yesterday and they couldn't recreate the noise, and said everything was nice and tight. No clunk whatsoever when driving straight, or to the left or to the right. It's only when I'm making a sharp right turn and hit a bump on that side. So weird...
  10. Man, you're a godsend. I could not find this tsb for the life of me. This makes our job so much easier - no longer have to try and prove to them that it happens lol
  11. PS: The fix for the Ram trucks is a software update/flash. I think we might have the same solution because when i check the TSBs for the journey, there's a TSB for "electrical software" but the description just says "Will update in future". So this might be our fix.
  12. haha okay, I guess it's "normal" then lol thanks.
  13. Okay please keep us posted. I see a TON of forums about the ram truck having this exact issue, but no forums about the journey having the issue. You're my only source to go off of hahaha.
  14. Is our electrical the same as the dodge ram? Because I know that they're having a ton of issues with this.
  15. 2016 dodge journey here. Noticed on my drive back home from work, going about 80 km/hr, headlights were randomly dimming a bit. Tried to replicate it but wasn't able to or I didn't notice. My work to home distance is about 30 kms.
  16. any update on this? I have a 2016 SXT blacktop edition and the passengers in the rear cannot exit the vehicle unless I open my door or I press the unlock button. I asked the dealership and they don't know if it's supposed to be like this or not so I have nothing to go by.
  17. Thanks. My first challenge is recreating the noise to show them I'm not crazy lol
  18. Really? Can you point me in the right direction? I wasn't able to find any topics that discussed it sadly. Was it along the lines of when the weight is transferred to one side and turning, like my issue is? The more knowledge the better I can help my dealer find the issue. Thanks
  19. A link that connects the frame to the suspension? Sway bar link? If I had the exact name it would help tremendously
  20. 2016 journey - There's a clunk that happens on the front driver side when I hit a bump while turning right. Typically happens when weight is being applied to that area. Example, braking while turning right into a parking lot and hitting a bump on that (driver) side. Potentially ruling out struts and mounts since it doesn't happen when going straight, only when weight is being applied to that side. What do you guys think? Doesn't sounds like a hollow clunk from a balljoint. Doesn't sound like a wheel bearing since I'm not getting any humming while driving. Maybe a tie rod? Lower control arm? You guys would know better than me. Have an apt in the morning for the dealership but I'm still curious on your thoughts in case they can't find it/replicate the noise. Only 35k miles on it btw. Thanks
  21. Final update - Rear climate shoots some nice warm heat if the vehicle is driving around. Drove to work and while driving, I put my hand in the rear ceiling vent and it was nice and toasty. Hope this topic helps those are as OCD as I am haha. Thanks guys
  22. So funny. I've owned 6 new + used cars in the past 5 years. All mundane and nothing out of the ordinary. Get a Journey and now I'm trying to learn all of the behaviours of the vehicle. Deciphering what's considered normal and what isn't.
  23. Hrrrm interesting. I have 3 options for rear heat: face, feet, or both. Face goes to the ceiling but no heat. Feet SHOULD come from under the driver and passenger seats (I can see little vents there i think) but I didn't feel any air flow coming from there myself.
  24. Do you guys get hot air coming out of the ceiling vents in the rear? Reading online, some people are saying the heat only comes from the bottom, not the top, while others are saying the only way for the heat to work in the rear is by driving. I drove a half hour, then idled in my driveway when I tested it, so technically I wasn't driving when I played with it.
