  1. Are you sure it didn't happen by going through a car wash? Used to happen all the time on VW's, brushes or dryer vents come down and grab the antenna, which in turn gets tangled and mangled.
  2. Nice RM Hockey Puck!! I've got a 'thing' for oldschool, Canadian mountain bikes. Over the years I've had several RM's, couple of Blizzards, Hammer, Cirrus. Also a couple of Kona's, a Hot, two Explosif's, Kilauea. My current bike, is a restored 1993 Brodie Catalyst, with Gatorblade fork, Syncros stem, and period correct parts. I need to get a picture up!
  3. For some reason I cannot reply to the other thread that you started regarding engine/part compatibility between Jeep/Dodge parts for your crd engine. In your searching, have you managed to find the correct part number that you need for the Journey? By just googling the actual part number, it should tell you other vehicles it will fit.
  4. Well obviously, if they're a different bolt pattern, they won't fit, unless you get adapters
  5. I'd have to agree with jkeaton. Sounds like that diesel is hiding some issues. For a 'new' car with only 13,000kms, it should feel and drive like a new car.
  6. Welcome! We just picked ours up a few weeks ago, and love it so far.
  7. Nice, thanks! Looks like a similar process to my old Jeep grille.
  8. Yes I know, old thread, but thought I would share my love for RAM mounts. Have used their products in a few vehicles, and love them. Ordered a twist lock suction base, with arm and Garmin Rino holster, didn't need the holster, but the price couldn't be beat if I just bought the base and arm. Using it along with an X-grip, which holds my note2 with Otterbox defender very nicely.
  9. Should that not have been covered by warranty? I find it very surprising that a car relatively new has this sort of issue.
  10. I was sure there was a sticky with the info, but I couldn't find it anywhere.
  11. 19 x 7 40mm offset 5 x 127 or 5x5 bokt pattern. Stock tire size 225/55/19
  12. Paint, plasti-dip, vinyl wrap, easy options out there instead of buying a whole new grille.
  13. I hope next week isn't just a tease of things to come, supposed to be above 0c here in Ottawa all week. Went through the car wash this morning, and I also went out earlier this week and bought some car cleaning supplies, leather wipes, microfibre clothes, and a new bottle of Rain-X!
  14. So I checked my VIN, and my radio can be updated to the newest firmware, but is there any benifit to do so? I do not have NAV, and radio appears to work fine. (2015 R/T)
  15. Just wanted to mention that there's also a variety of chrome accessories available on AliExpress, although I cannot comment on using that site, I have recently placed an order, but have not received my items yet. *edit* Be prepared to wait for your product though, usually takes 30+ days!
  16. For anyone in Canada, eastern Ontario, I highly recommend quattrotires (online tire sales) Excellent prices, good selection of tires, very quick delivery. Last March I ordered 4 General Grabbers for my Jeep, they were the cheapest I could find. I placed my order on a Wednesday, and they were delivered by 1pm Friday that same week. When I checked the date stamp on each tire (I was concerned they may have been selling old stock) three of them were manufactured in January, one in December the previous year. I ordered a fifth for my spare a month later, and received great service again. Did I mention it was also free shipping? I will be using them again when I purchase a set of snow tires for the Journey, I just have to decide on wheels, as I do mot want steelies. They're located in St.Jerome, QC, near our family cottage.
  17. Are the Khumo's just an American thing? Or are my factory Toyo's just an R/T thing? I don't find them bad at all, even in snow.
  18. I just wanted to mention that the information you posted Black Diamond is very misleading and confusing. The information that Bazinga posted is 100% correct. And tire size has nothing whatsoever to do with the rim rubbing.
  19. Kinda hard to justify a road trip with a wife and three kids, just to pick up a set of rims! Hopefully the taxman is kind again to us this year, we usually get a sizeable return, which allows some funds for toys
  20. I thought it may have been them. I'm in Ottawa, and they post their ads on kijiji here too. Shipping would be a deal breaker. I've got a couple saved searches, looking for 5x127, 5x5, dodge wheels, etc, I'm sure I'll find a set before next fall, don't want to jump the gun and just 'settle' for steelies. Those rims you got should look great, looking forward to some pics!
