I took my last journey in the Journey yesterday afternoon to bring home a new Jeep Renegade Sport 4X4.  The Journey served us well.  Gone but not forgotten.

That doesn't go up to 2015 and is only 3 button, I have the 4 button which includes remote start.

I received the replacement fob in the mail today and had it programmed at the dealer for 41 bucks.  Works perfectly.  They couldn't cut the blank at the dealer so I stopped into the Lowe's next door and they cut it free.

... owned and driven (maybe not a whole lot) for a year and a half + now, nearly 10K miles and all seems well with the 2015 DJC V6. Initial problem with fueling up was corrected at dealership with a replacement fuel filler neck assembly, two FCA recalls completed (one pending) and a minor broken part by a service technician (dealership will replace) are the only issues thus far. I'm well aware that not all DJ owners are satisfied with theirs for various reasons and I hope they can get any and all problems and/ or issues resolved to their complete satisfaction, praise the Lord mine has been 'a good ride' !

I had an Altima 2 years ago and and a Camry last year as my Florida rentals and I wasn't impressed with either but did like the Altima over the Camry....this year I'm driving my DJ down to Florida so I expect it to be an enjoyable drive.

Have a 2016 Nissan Altima rental this week. Not nearly as nice to drive as my 2011 DJ.
Likes: Engine has plenty of power, transmission shifts super smooth, base comes with backup cam, great fuel efficiency.
Dislikes: Steering wheel is too small, interior controls are wonky, seats are a strange material, no lumbar adjustment, backup cam screen is small.
Overall the Altima is not as fun to drive as my DJ. Lots of interior noise and twitchy steering. Small steering wheel makes that worse. Engine and transmission seem good but I'm afraid to use all of the power. Maybe that would get better with time. I miss the cargo space of my DJ this week.
Anyway, good car, but I prefer my 5 year old DJ overall.
    Peace.

Damn, that was easy. About 20 minutes. Factory filter was on tight but I have the appropriate tool to get it off with ease. New filter was only hand tightened. I used Pennzoil dino 5W-20 and I had a new Fram oil filter in the garage bought for a previous vehicle that was the right size.
Oil change reminder light came on at 6,800 miles, I got around to it today at 6,870.
The 2.4 DJ is one of the easiest of all the vehicles I've owned to do an oil change.

The 3.6 takes me about the same amount if time. Nothing like doing something yourself.

6 of one, half dozen of the other. Your paying the dealer a premium for dealer supplied parts and accessories. I tend to spend my money wisely.

Pretty easy installation. The rear wheels have to be taken off but I rotated my tires at the same time so no extra effort was required.
I have a 3 ton floor jack and jack stands which makes the job even easier.
