  1. Sorry, overlooked this. I used Micro2 fuse taps, had to order them off of eBay. Basically it is a connector that fits in the existing fuse that takes power from that spot. The original circuit still has a fuse, and your new circuit is also protected by a fuse. It just plugs in (sorry my explanation sucks, might be better to just google it).
  2. Haha I could imagine, did you end up wiring the solenoid? It would be awesome having a quad retro and projected fogs like that.
  3. The term Remapping seems to be more of a European one. But nonetheless I am intrigued. Please keep us informed as I would also be interested. Is that a chipset that can be removed? Only vehicle I can think of that would be like that is the BMW's. I'm used to how sct works but not this specific one.
  4. I do the same thing man. Especially when working nights. Nothing like waking and looking at your posts and asking yourself WTF. Lol.
  5. They are horrible for updating their charts. Took them almost a year to add the f150 ecoboost to their page even though it could tune it. But I could be mistaken.Edit: looks like the list you found had more up to date info than the one I was looking at.
  6. Looks like HP Tuners now supports the Dodge Journey. So at least we know that tuning would be available for a supercharger, or even without.
  7. Did I miss something? I thought he was putting them into projectors.
  8. The only part of the warranty they "could" void is if you had electrical issues afterwords. But for me I just used fuse taps. They are 100% removable. No splicing into wires or anything like that. I love the magic pro, it's nice to have the true motion detection while the vehicle is parked.
  9. Do you have a capacitor? If so is it plugged in backwards? Maybe it isn't big enough?
  10. Talked with some of the Alberta F150 guys and a bunch haven't received theirs either. Guessing an entire shipment got lost.
  11. Here is a thread for random off topic pictures you took. I'll start it off. Some fun in the snow, when there isn't enough snow for a sled.
  12. Hope they work out better for you than LEDs have for me. I find the beam control makes a high and low hotspot rather than a focused centre hot spot that will give you distance. So in another words a lot of light on the ground but none where it counts. If they turn out well for you then maybe I'll consider it.
  13. It's the same one you get from TRS. I had a spare before I didn't realize it went on the "in" side of the relay and ordered another one. Had 2 of them one to each ballast. Then I did a dodge truck and realized I only needed one. So it is sitting in the garage. Lol
  14. Ok. So I just need a capacitor. I think I have one lying around.
  15. What exactly was missing from the harness? I also ordered the canbus as it was the only option.
  16. No, with drl I can't. Plus the warm up think. That's why I'm thinking of colour matching to either the 4300 or 5500 HIDs.
  17. Ok. I want to colour match. So should I go with PIAA or sylvania ZXE for the high beams? Also I have some old H1 4300 bulbs I'm going to try with the 55w. I did also order 5500 Incase the 4300 are too yellow with 55w
  18. Mine has also had zero tracking movement on it. Hopefully it comes in before the weekend. I pretty much only have saturday night to do it.
  19. All it has to do is save me one deductible on any of my vehicles then to purchase the two cameras was well worth the investment.
  20. That is why I chose the BlackVue with magic power adapter. The camera will stay on even when the vehicle is off. It will eventually shut off when the adapter senses the battery voltage has dropped to a set voltage. The adapter also has an on off switch and allows a timer, so fully customizable as to how you want the camera to record. But it records motion, 5 seconds before the person walks by (or vehicle hits you) and 55 seconds after only with the adapter. That is why I paid the little bit extra. I almost got hit last week and it would have been tough explaining.
  21. Thanks guys. Ordered 2 cameras. One for the journey and one for the F150. My only regret right now is not thinking to pick up a third for the mustang.
  22. Good to know, I was hoping for an actual motion detector. Thanks for clarifying. So I think I have it narrowed down to the Blackvue 650. I also see that they have a power setup that allows the camera to stay on, but will shut off the camera when voltage gets low. So best of both worlds.
  23. A GoPro is a good idea, I'm sure I have an old one sitting around. Only reason why I want the dash camera style is because of the motion detection while the vehicle is parked.
