  1. So I use my back under storage department area in the back of the journey to keep all my cleaning supplies as I live in a apartment so it is more easy to keep them with me in my journey. Only thing I hated was there was no way to hold the back part of the tray up. I found a simple way to modified it so the back tray will stay up. I got some Velcro strap with tape on one side to stick it to the under part of the tray and I use the straps from the third row seat to hold the tray up

  2. What do you think?? Was thrilled that it was still available. I now have a matching

if you ever get a charger hellcat. your tag can read Hel2Gas . BTW if you get tired of the prius and want to regain some manhood back ( lol jk maybe ) get yourself a Harley Davidson motorcycle. It gets 48 mpg and will run you 12k ...

    I personally want a V-Rod !

  3. are you going switch the badge on the steeling wheel and the name in the back to fiat freemont or put a dodge emblem over the fiat badge on the grill? I know this does not help you in getting the grill , Just wondering if you ant to turn your journey into a freemont

though this guy is selling one on ebay but it is pickup, maybe you can talk him into shipping it and the grill needs a little touch up

  4. I like my 2015 DJ interior but I got to be honest, I think the 07-10 had a nice interior too , it was one of the better interior before fiat got into the mix. Only thing I dislike about the 07-10 are the interior green odo lights . I like that the 07-10 interior door panels had that chrome stripe on them ! I wish mine had that ..I think no matter which generation DJ you have, you all still have a nice interior !

  5. Mine runs 45 a month with a 250 deductible and 100 comprehensive through State Farm

$350 every 6 months. $200 deductible, zero deductible comprehensive. Allstate. Been with them for over 25 years.

dang those are low for full coverage . Not to be noisy but are you two over the age of 50, I know age plays a major part in rates as well as location too . I moved two blocks up the street this past march and my ins drop 5 dollars a month cause of that ! Plus I always have been told credit score plays a major part on rates which I think is dead wrong as credit score should not play a part in rates.

I think I need though to call my agent now and bitch lol

  6. I had my first about a month ago. I backed into a truck, in a tight parking space. I was so concerned about the Caliber on my left side, I was not watching the truck on my right side. The truck was not in the view of the camera. I didn't realize it was there until I hit it. No damage to the truck, but I flattened the passenger side of my rear bumper! No metal damage. The only thing hurt was my pride. All fixed now. My Dealer did an excellent job matching the color. The first one is always the worst. I may have back up sensors installed; I can't figure why the truck was not in the camera's field of vision. It was not fulling in its parking space.

Don't get comfortable using those back up camera's . Nothing can replace using mirrors, your own eyes and turning your head . I have driven a school bus for 21 years and without a doubt mirrors and using your own eyes will never let you down ...

  7. This has been discussed to death. Seems like all insurances designate them differently. CUV, SUV, Sport wagon. While truly a CUV, no one seems to agree and the lines are getting blurred. BTW, my insurance classifies it as a "Journey Truck".

I was thinking the same thing today watching all those suvs cuv etc go bye how so many are kinda blurred in size and looks but if I was to say the closet competitor for the journey is, I think the Dodge Journey is right in line with the Hyundai Santa Fe as far as size, how many people it carry and height ! I look at both but went with the journey because it had the higher rebate " I am a rebate shopper " and I like hoffman dodge vs massey Hyundai , Hoffman is just the better dealer for my needs

  8. Now I think what can I do with that grill now that I know how to pull that bad boy out. Oh man my mind is in over gear ! Maybe I will spray paint the black inside part of the chrome grill that is black a chrome color or buy some paint that matches my paint and paint it then clear coat it.. I think the black plastic look inside the chrome is cheap. It needs to either be painted or chromed. I think black paint with clear coat would look nice.

  9. Well Never mind, I just pulled it off and took a chance, I am thankful to say it didnt break lol... It is now installed in the lower grill of the bumper this time with the washers and spaces to the nut , haha not me !

I went ahead and took some pictures of it

  10. Curious as to why you want to remove your grill after you installed those good looking SS Wire Mash inserts.

I need to install the bottom grill with the allen bots it came with. I try to use 3m tape but it didnt hold up too well and I cant figure out how to get to the bottom grill from under the bottom of the car. I did search but I only find topic on it. I understand how to remove it from the top part but I cant get it to come out from the bottom. I guess I should had ask, do I pull out toward the street or pull up and how much force will it take or is there something on the bottom I need to undo before I try to pull the grill out.

I want to pull the top grill out so i can install the lower grill cause it looks like if i get the top grill out completely then I can stick my arm in behind the front bumper and bolt in the bottom grill

  11. I want to remove the front chrome grill on my DJ , My Question is. after I remove the tabs, Do I just pull the grill straight toward me or up wards and then out toward me, I try this last weekend and it look like the bottom of the grill is attached to the bumper still. So do I pull on the honey comb grill toward or leave it alone?

  12. The lens needs to reflect red at a specific distance. How that is accomplished is up to the manufacturer, but something on your housing reflected red in order for it to be legal (or, gasp, it was an aftermarket "offroad only" housing that was installed on an on road vehicle). Just because something is available to install doesn't make it legal. Dealerships selling modified vehicles isn't a very good indicator of legality either...

It was aftermarket tail lamps by spyder and they def were road legal cause i got pulled over in my truck 2 times and one cop said nice tail lamps but i owe you a apology . I just look at a pic of my truck and it did have 3 small red spots inside the light but the lenses was clear !

  13. Damn that looks sharp ! It looked great before the bottom grill cover was installed. I think in this case a darker colour DJ is best ? Can't see my silver popping like your black does.

Thank you :worship: I could see silver with this if you spray the stainless steel with black chrome paint like this

. that color shadow black out chrome on the grills would look wicked with the silver paint IMO !!!!!!
