I was happy cause I lost a trouble maker ! We're find him someday I keep seeing blue in my pics cause of you lol . I think pitch black does look blue kinda in certain angles

So you believe the tank was defected but you never try to have it checked out by a third party to prove as much and now you just flat out blame dodge for this , you can't blame Dodge unless you have complete proof and not just a assumption . You should had taken it to another repair shop besides the dealer to have it checked if you truly believed it was defected.

You are upset about the hazmat fees , towing fees and repair costs you paid but you must have insurance that should cover that so you could had avoid those charges if you had contacted your insurance agent but you seem dead sit on blaming dodge for this without proof so IMO You got what you deserve !

stop whinnying to us and call your insurance agent before it is too late to try to recover those costs you paid out of pocket that could be paid though a claim !

as for the dealer not letting you see the Original tank with the damage, you can damn well believe I would not be told no when I own it !

I am not saying a defected tank is not possible but you failed to prove it by going to a third party so you don't have a leg to stand on and you are out of money for all those fees cause you didn't contact your insurance agent

Now to add fuel to the fire. The Cherokee, 200 and Dart are all based on a FWD compact Alfa Romeo compact car. Alfa is getting ready to introduce a medium size RWD car with a Ferrari V6, sharing many Meserati parts also. This RWD platform will be used for the next generation Avenger and Journey. Dodge is going to be the low priced performance Division and Alfa will be the higher priced performance division. This means that all Dodges will eventually be RWD; then what happens to the Dart?

Time will tell but it all sounds good

if they sell it cheaper each year I could live with this as 2021 model if the above sold for say 17500 out the door fully loaded !

Yea I agree and it will be based on the Chrysler 200 which is based on the dodge dart which I truly believe is based on a fiat small car platform so yep I agree

For all the first generation owners wanting that new front baja bumper bar on there 2009/2010. The 2011, 2012, 2013 lower front bumper (new style) seems dimensionaly the same for form fit and function.

I see nobody has done it on these forums. No postings found about this using the search bar.

The 2011,2012 "Crew" Chrysler part drawings show the bumper mounts are the same and the only diffrence was the lower front fascia over the first gen one. See pic.

The 2014 "Crossroad" Chrysler drawings on other hand show different looking bumper mounts so the fittment might not be a direct drop replacement although the entire front fascia is the same and would fit with some tweaking from behind the curtain. See pic.

I don't like that silver crossbar on the front bumper of the crossroad and RT front bumper . I like the first generation bumper better cause it has more of a muscle look then the Crossroad/Baja front bumper does, Now as far as the back bumper of the crossroad and RT, I def like the back of that bumper just not with that silver bar on it.

For what it i wroth , one thing I like about the front of the crossroad bumper is the bottom black trim that go around the bottom of the crossroad and RT bumper

IMO My bumper looks much more cool and raceboy like but that is my taste but I could live with the crossroad or RT bumper if I could remove that silver crossbar

The only bad thing about the Journey is that the speed limiter kicks in at 118mph. You won't be out running a police helicopter with it anytime soon.

First time using Plasti Dip and this stuff is fantastic! The application isn't perfect, so at some point I'll peel it off and redo it, but I am really happy with how it looks. Now I'll have to get the headlights done. Check the full size pic in my gallery

I had mine tinted but the guy who did mine did 25 front window and said back windows are 18...No cops mess with me but then again we dodge journey drivers are not a target for cops ... I sit next to about 10 cops at different intersections since I got it tinted and one even came up to me at a self service car wash and said nice looking suv. He didnt say one word about my tint being too dark. also the guy who did mine said if I ever did get a ticket he would take it off for free and redo at half price with a 35 tint. I paid 80 dollars for both windows done...I thought about the front WS but he said that is what most cops look for, one with front windows as well. kinda tells the cop your hiding something . if you do 20, just dont do the front windshield .. Also 25 is not that much darker then 35.. you can see a slight difference in my tint but i think it blends in good

trade it in for a new one. good rebates are on them and you can get one dirt cheap for like 18k if you dont mind a striped down one !

As far as ebay amazon or aliexpress... If it is the cheapest, It gets my money . Tight Wald here

One thing I don't like about ebay feedback. The seller could have sold 5 million items, 1%, that's 5000 unhappy customers....I prefer amazon where you can get actual, in-depth customer feedback. Ebay lets you add like 100 characters....lol. Just my two cents. Plus, I'm so used to ordering from Amazon and having it on my doorstep within 2 days. I bought a set of taillights for my truck on ebay on Nov. 4, expected delivery Nov. 12. Call me impatient.....

You'll probably get it in 6-8 weeks. I hate that stuff coming from China. They may ship it quick but it usually gets held up in customs for awhile.

Well the seller has a 99% feedback rating with high scores on shipping times, so I shall see. I also am still deciding what color I want to do the silver trim in. A few thoughts I had are

1 spray paint it the Bitch Black same as my car paint name and also paint the dull black plastic part of the cross hair on my grill.

2 wrap it in a chrome vinyl like a black gloss, chrome or a wood color but I really think #1 is a cool ideal and if I fuck it up, I can sand it down and wrap it then in a chrome black gloss or wood color

They do just pop out - you use a trim tool (a plastic pry tool) to get them out. You will find directions in the backup camera installation manual, which is posted here:

Please follow this advice and spend a couple bucks on the trim panel tool. It is very easy to damage these parts prying on them with a screwdriver and they aren't cheap to replace...

does anyone know how to remove those silver trim parts that curve below the dash at the hvac controls. I want to wrap them . I was thinking maybe they just pop out if i take something flat like a flat head screwdriver and pop it loose?

I want to wrap them in vinyl.Either in glossy black or chrome and btw Yes I search the forum. Not sure what those things are called so I didnt have much luck searching the forum for this information

I don't know about genius but I surprised dodge didn't think of something like that !

Cool idea. Only problem for me is that my third row has never seen the light of day and I have the dodge cargo mat over it all. I like the cargo mat, but it does make getting into that storage a little bit of a hassle.
