antwill Posted June 14, 2016 Report Share Posted June 14, 2016 My journey is 2008. It doesn't engage in gear. I start it and put it in drive but it just revs and does not move. Took it to the Chrysler garage and after 14 days I have been told the gear is broken but they don't do repairs so they only change which is so expensive. Also told me they couldn't diagnose this so it's a conclusion they have just drawn since its not engaging. The quote for replacement is £3000 which is out of the question. I was told by another mechanic that it was likely to just need a reset but this means I have to go to a gear specialist to have it done. Any help or suggestions?
