After the initial indicator (pump light) I monitored the 'distance to empty'. When the display switched to 'LOW FUEL' it indicated I had 30 miles to go to empty. After driving an additional 12 miles I refueled and could only put 15.978 gallons in the tank. With a 20.5 gallon capacity tank I had the ability to travel quite a bit further. The point being that at least on my JOURNEY SXT there is an additional amount of fuel available, so no need to panic too soon. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

brwengel Posted July 28, 2009 Report Share Posted July 28, 2009 On a few ocassions I have fueled up as soon as the low fuel light came on, and each time it took about 17.5 gals.
