Is this normal?

Recommended Posts

Why are my brakes "hanging" after being in reverse...? Seems like my brakes are stuck for a few seconds after being in reverse and then put into Drive. is this normal?

I just wonder because they give a "clunk" when they let go, and I really have to press the accelerator/rpm`s to force it.

Otherwise happy with my R/T CRD...

This doesn't sound normal to me. It may not be the brakes either. Suggest you bring this to the attention of the dealer when you get a chance.

Are you on an sloape when you change out of reverse? Try taking the car out of hill start assist (found in Paersonal Settings on the EVIC) and see if it still does it.

I found hillstart a bit annoying so switched it off.

Cheers!

does not have to be a noticable slope either, just 3-4 degress of body tilt and the hill assist kicks in... being an SXT and no danged ERIC the Evil EVIC , can not turn iy off with out a trip to the dealers......and of late Grey Wolf has been there too many times....
