jkeaton Posted May 20, 2014 Report Share Posted May 20, 2014 Over the past weekend, we drove to Illinois for my nephews high school graduation. (Lake Villa, Ill, to be exact) total miles @1600, or so. The DJ was a complete joy to drive. Smooth and comfortable (even around the horribly winter impacted roads around Indiana, whose roads give new meaning to the word "pot hole"). We drove straight through both ways, 13 hours at a time. We managed a respectable 28 MPG for the entire trip which included some serious congestion around Indianapolis, Dayton and Chicago. All in all, very pleased with this vehicle. Not a single hickup anywhere. Got a 4 day weekend coming up and going to treat her with an oil change and good wash, wax and detail since she treated us so well. Timon Posted May 20, 2014 Report Share Posted May 20, 2014 Nice, we're looking at a trip from Orange Count CA to the upper part of Washington state which is about 1,300 miles each way.
