I think you're gonna have to wait a few years for the aftermarket to catch up. Having the HVAC integrated into the HU makes things very tricky. UNLESS you wanna go the old school route I took in my 96 caddy. I kept the stock radio, for door chimes & to keep the security system in check, and added an aftermarket HU, amps, speakers and subs. In that case YOU WILL be rewiring the entire car and not to mention having to hide another HU. Sorry

No need to remove anything: just open the glove box, pull the tabs on the sides so that you can open it some more, remove the mat of the compartment under the display, push the cables in one of the holes (preferably the rightmost one) and pull them from the side (from the opening of the glove box you can almost reach the hole).
