I’ve been trying to get mine off so I can realign my wiper arms since the driver side wiper keeps hitting the A pillar because of it being too high when in the park position. I tried using a wiper arm puller and it wouldn’t fit because of the cowl panel, and then I made the stupid mistake of trying to force it to fit and then ended up cracking the plastic on the cowl panel. I have a really old steering wheel puller that fit into the tight recess. Removing without damaging is the hard part. Harbor Freight has some unusual pullers, that are cheap enough for one off use.
