DartGTDan
My 2013 Crew will not allow me to connect to my iPhone 16 Pro. The car used to be my wife's (for about 2 years) and she was able to connect her phone to the car. Every time I try, it gives me a "please wait" or "searching" message. The radio screen has the spinning icon, like its trying to do something, but after several minutes (and multiple attempts on multiple different days) I give up. I think it would "try" to connect forever if I let it. It would be nice to have my phone connect to the vehicle, but I fear it is not meant to be. Is there anything I can do? 5rebel9
NO GUARANTEE , but you could try pulling the HFM fuse at the interior fuse panel in the pass side kick panel wait a few minutes and reinsert the fuse. then try pairing your phone to the car according to procedure found in the owners manual. BUT as I found on our 13 DJ, the HFM/bluetooth module over the brake pedal assy. has gone bad and needs to be replaced....many youtube videos about "how to replace" with a google search. Does the wifes phone still work in the car????
DartGTDan
5rebel9 Probably not, as the phone my wife used, when she was the main driver of the car, is long gone. I'll try the pulling the fuse (when the weather warms up 😀). Thanks for the response!
John/Horace
My wife's iPhone 16e is working well with a 2014 journey RT right now, if that info is of any help. Lower model phone..probably same IOS. So 2013 shouldn't be a uconnect compatibility issue imo. Free advice worth everything you pay for it.
