J'sjourney
My driver side TPMS is intermittent and was told it has to be replaced. Would you take it to the dealer, independent shop or a national auto repair? What would be a reasonable price to replace the sensor? Would you replace all of them? Edit: Tire pressures of all tires are good. Thanks in advance. Edited June 9 by J'sjourney
2late4u
, don't go to the dealership,,, ANY tire store can replace them my 2014 started acting up a few yrs ago and I just replaced therm all at discount tire store here in Al. cost was around $260 for all 4 ,,you can do it yourself if you want to/have the ability to remove the old ones and reinstall the new ones for a lot less,,,just buy good ones not the cheap knock offs Edited June 9 by 2late4u

I asked at Just Tires since they where the ones that I got to replace my tires over 6 months ago. They said they couldn't replace mine for some reason. I have no way to do it myself. So I will have to go to some shop like Discount Tires. If you remember which ones they installed please post it here or at least suggest good ones. John/Horace
I have used preprogrammed units made by Dorman and Schrader from Rockauto. Plug and play, they activated after about 10 miles of driving. Schrader is the manufacturer who makes Mopar oem sensors, I have read on other sites. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dodge,2014,journey,3.6l+v6,3300354,wheel,tire+pressure+monitoring+system+(tpms)+sensor,12036 Cloned preprogrammed sensors could be used if adding a second set of rims for a vehicle. Free advice worth everything you pay for it.
