Nortonic Posted June 15, 2023 Report Share Posted June 15, 2023 Hey all, just a quick write up. My 2011 R/T drivetrain has died again, and i got gifted a 2012 SXT. I've stripped both down to the floor, entire interiors removed, as i want to basically change my SXT to my R/T, seats and features. I'm almost done completely removing the wiring harness that runs from the passenger rear, up under the dash and down the drivers to the rear, as the SXT harness was missing a lot of wiring mainly for the power/heated seats and all the amp/speaker wiring (Yes full doors are being changed too). The only module i was thinking of changing was the BCM as it is configured for all the features that were on my 2011 and are being installed on the 2012, and the 2012 has the same modules everywhere else (NAV in headliner ect, just missing the wires, but will be coming over with the 2011 harness) Im just afraid of having VIN mismatch issues, should i just use AlfaOBD after on the 2012 BCM and activate everything?
