orthotech28 Posted November 7, 2022 Report Share Posted November 7, 2022 So I have a issue with my ptu unit moving and causing a knocking sound when starting up and whenever the car shifts gears. John/Horace Posted November 8, 2022 Report Share Posted November 8, 2022 The bolts wouldn’t just come loose by themselves. PTU holds approx a quart of oil for the bearings, if it goes dry the internal components will get wrecked. If that’s the case, ptu will need replacing.
