  1. I have. 2018 journey gt, 54k miles and I'm getting odd codes on my scanner. I only noticed them due to another cel for Throttle body ( which I fixed). No other cel, nothing changed in drivability or anything acting unusual with any other systems. U0010-00 can bus interior B2860-15 for ambient light short C121c-00 torque request denied B1a11-00 remote battery low C1504-96 tire pressure senor ( all four of them If my car was throwing just a couple codes I would say are real, but this many with a canbus code am I looking at a more complicated issue here? Tpsm on dash works just fine even tested it. None of these codes come up when I look at dtc codes thru the obd2 option. It's not until I use autodetect do these codes come up. I'm using launch 123e diagnostic reader.
  2. So I have a issue with my ptu unit moving and causing a knocking sound when starting up and whenever the car shifts gears. Can't find where the bolts are to see if there loose, any suggestions or anyone else experiencing this?
  3. Did u find the cause of the backlash? I. Having the same issue
  4. My luck is always unusual in the worst way lol. Thank you for youre suggestion tomorrow night I'll go out there and check. I was kinda at a loss for what else it could be. 39k for the milage, once I found the first one needing repair I inspected the others and they seemed to show wear and tear I had the money and time so I said screw it. In hindsight I should of did the one and been done with it lol
  5. I have a 2018 journey gt awd. I had a engine mount go bad (front one under bumper) so i had some time and just replaced all of them, after started the car up I noticed a knocking sound, turned it off and yet again heard it. I drove a little while noticing the sound going over bumps every so often. I rechecked the bolts to all the mounts and noticed I had some loose ones on the rear mount (the one the connects the engine trans and ptu to the frame. Started it again noise is less over bumps up shifting and down shifting noise got better. So I get under it again just to make sure and I grab the propeller shaft and noticed the entire engine ptu and trans would move up and down like they were just held on by the engine and trans mount and I noticed tons of motor oil and the drivers side cv axle and top of trans, just had oil changed so I dunnonif oil cooler cracked but it's a decent amount but when I check the dip stick it's spot on. Any clues where I went wrong. I mean I can grab the propeller shaft and it all moves easily! And like I said I rechecked everything everything looks fine. Oh yeah I forgot to mention and heavy acceleration when shift the car bucks and pulls more so then usual.
  6. Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I had it in my head that the system was weak, but that makes me feel a little better as I do go a little off roading, nothing serious. I'm big on custom and different out of the box vehicles. Like if you want to go fast should bought a mustang, but in the year 2022 is there any way that a mustang can be custom? Like no body i feel like can have a unique one and that's what I'm trying to go for. Im lucky, no kids and fairly high paying job so little money to burn. I did pretty much all bolt on stuff for engine and wanted to lose a little weight and some other stuff before engine internals. I keep up on the maintenance, but do want to get better suspension, mine has a lot of the creaks and squeaks that plague a lot of journeys. So final conclusion is leave it alone until something breaks and I'm ok with that. Thanks again for the replies I really do appreciate it.
  7. Ok, please be gentle guys. Im well aware it's a dodge journey but I really would like to replace the whole driveshaft/propeller shaft everything. Dodge uses these funky connectors instead of regular u joints right? Can I change out that whole thing and use universal joints? What kind of hook up does the original use that goes into the ptu and coupler? And could i slide any universal shafts into ptu and coupler? Sorry if I'm sounding stupid I got plans for this car and want to do everything right
