dave smith Posted October 6, 2022 Report Share Posted October 6, 2022 I have a 2013 Journey Crew, tire size 225/55r/19 Rims are painted aluminum spoke 19 x 7"in. I would like to go one size bigger to the Michelin Defender LTX m/s 235/55r/19. At Costco they say tires will rub, too big. Will I have issues going to that size? I really would like the Michelins. 2late4u Posted October 6, 2022 Report Share Posted October 6, 2022 i have been running that size. 235 55 19 for yrs with the standard 19 inch Crossroad rims,,,actually you could go even bigger but some say they rub a bit in tight turns or you can grind off a bit of the strut base so it doesn't,,,i havent run the bigger size so i cant comment on it..check out the forum section on tires for a lot of info on this subject,,,also Welcome to the group as well larryl and dave smith 1 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
