OhareFred Posted August 18, 2020 Report Share Posted August 18, 2020 (edited) Well, if you need to add Freon the reason is a leak. You need to add the correct type Freon for your car. R12 isn’t used anymore and what is depends on your model year. the best bet would be take it to an AC shop and have the leak fixed and the correct Freon added. Can’t mix them....
