Inmatejason Posted July 30, 2018 Report Share Posted July 30, 2018 Hello i have a 2014 Dodge Journey rt awd that I bought used about 5 months ago and I have noticed every time I put my car in a gear or it downshift when coming to a stop I can hear this sound I think it coming from the transmission . It does it every time It changes gears, I thought it was normal because I have heard this sound on many Chrysler vans before but I want to make sure before my warranty ends. I tried searching on the net but couldn’t find an answer, but I did find out that the sound is most likely my solenoid. I found a video on YouTube of a dodge van making the same sound mine does. Anyway can you guys tell me if the sound is normal or not please? “2012 Dodge Grand Caravan 62TE Transmission noises”. Is the name of the video on YouTube if you want to hear the sound.
