  1. I have a 2014 Crossroad and I am going on a camping trip with an Air mattress which has an inbuilt air pump Unfortunately, the mattress does not mention the wattage of the pump. Has anyone used the inverter to inflate an air mattress? I know that the max load that can be undertaken is 150W not sure how much wattage the mattress pump draws The pump mentions 110-120V at 0.6amps
  2. Hello learned members....I am seeking some advice for my Dodge Journey 2014 CrossRoad with 15000 kms on it! For the past 2 weeks, I have noticed that whenever I turn left there is a slight clicking noise coming from the front end. The frequency is higher the more I steer to the left Only maintenance performed was swapping winter to summer tires about a month ago. Can someone please help me understand, what I should focus on before I call the dealership I have extended warranty so hopefully it should be covered. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  3. Greetings all! Can I go through a modern carwash without damaging the antenna? My poor journey looks filthy, thanks to winter and with a newborn baby just haven't managed to give some TLC Any recommendations? Thanks!
  4. I just got a call from the dealer about a recall related to Anti-Lock brakes for my 2014 Journey CrossRoad Does anyone here have any details on it? Thanks!
  5. Depends how cold If the car is kept outside and there is freezing (usually overnight) the windows/wipers might be stuck It would have happen to me all the time when I would park my car outside (not this dodge) Be careful not to force the vipers or power windows, as you might end up with a blown up fuse. I would just park it inside a garage (enclosed parking at cinemas or malls) for a few hours for things to thaw over and bingo
  6. Thanks folks for your responses! Enjoy the weather
  7. It's been 8 months since I bought a Dodge journey crossover 2014 and so far its been a treat!! I have more than 8000 kms on the odometer and still no oil change warning. Should I be concerned or should I just take it to the dealer to get the oil changed nonetheless? Please advise. TIA
  8. Congratulations and welcome! I have the exact same color and trim (2014 though).....Not sure if there are many changes I did manage to "arm twist" the dealer to throw in a backup rearview camera for free
  9. Thanks onecrazyfoo4u I agree with your idea. I am based in Montreal Canada, can anyone please let me know where I can order the pen from?
  10. Hello All Had an unfortunate accident couple of days ago and scraped the rear fender on drivers side with another car. No bumps or dents, but the fender has a thin strip of metal exposed right at the edge. The car is barely 2 months old Dealer gave me an estimate of $1000+ So, I am getting some quotes from independent body shops and checking with them the cost for restoring the paint finish. I can live with a scratch it's no big deal...however, my only concern is the exposed metal and if it will start rusting, if left untreated. Any suggestions ideas on DIY. The idea is to cover the exposed area with matching paint and prevent the paint around from chipping further Any help is appreciated. Thanks,
  11. Greetings from Montreal! I have recently upgraded the software last week on my 2014 CrossRoad Does anyone know any details on what this update addresses? I couldn't find any documentation on Chrysler's website Thanks, Anish
