  1. Thanks Journeyman.  Yes, I am the same guy, retired from Chrysler, Huntsville Electronics.  I ordered the 2017 Dodge Journey to replace the one that you helped me follow, nearly two years ago>  My how time flies!  This is another Chrysler Company Car.  When I get it, I'll turn the 2015 in.  Looking forward to getting it.  This one will be silver, and it's loaded.  Very nice hearing from you again.

  2. After I ordered my first Journey Crossroads, I joined the forum!  There were several members who had access to help me follow my Journey through the production process.  Using the VON (vehicle order number) they posted on the forum, my vin number, and kept me informed from that point, all the way until it was delivered to Huntsville, Al.  I was even able to follow it from when it left Mexico, until it was delivered.

  3. I took my Journey Crossroads to the dealership this morning, and they tried to reset the navigation. Being an X-electronics engineer from Chrysler, I knew there was a way to reset the radio/nav to factory default. One way is a hard reset - disconnect the battery, and wait about 10 minutes. Didn't work! Second way is by using the cold/hot buttons on the unit. Hold for 5 secs, and a menu comes up on the screen, reset to factory default. Caution here, you can screw up everything. You can catch it on you-tube. Just go to video under "Dodge Journey Navigation reset". Anyway I took it to the dealership, and my radio/nav unit has to be replaced. They ordered me one, and said they would call me. Anyone know how long this will take, because the service rep couldn't tell me.

  4. I'm really enjoying this vehicle. Ride is great, quiet, and comforting. I'm so use to driving Dodge 4X4s. Gas mileage in city is running 21.4. I'm sure that will change after I finish breaking in this vehicle. Everything works. My hats off to the Chrysler Engineers, who took this vehicle from the design phase, through manufacturing, and out to the customer. I will be giving updates about my Journey on a regular basis. One more comment, and it goes to my friend Journeyman 425, THANKS.....

  5. Will do Journeyman425. You don't know how much I thank you. It's has been a long road. I read all your posts and the info you post on all issues really bring the Dodge Journey member a tremendous service. My hats off to you, and I say thanks to you, again. It's very confronting knowing that people like you go out of their way to keep new buyers informed, and to resolve issues that pop up with Dodge products. I'm sure I'll be reading more news from you. Have a great TURKEY day, and a very Happy Safe Merry Christmas to you, and of course your family. I will post pictures, very soon.

  6. That's a sharp looking Crossroad. Can't wait to get mine! Ordered a 2015 Dodge Journey Crossroad on Sept. 25. On railcar, Memphis today. Mine is 3.6L, AWD, sunroof, navigation, backup camera, in Redline 2 coat pearl. I'm a ole Chrysler fart that has always driven Dodge Trucks (still have two). Thought I'd like to drive a SUV, and the Journey Crossroad appears to be exactly what I want. Just sitting and waiting for mine to get to Huntsville, Al. Will post pictures WHEN I can get my fingers on the steering wheel!!!
