  1. Its a wallet busting $40 that wont be needed for 100k miles....and we're complaining? I just pumped $60 in the tank, and ill do it again in 5 days.....
  2. Yep, a padded legal envelope. That was the cheapest flat rate 3-5 day without going to the post office and weighing it.
  3. Sorry, garage was best I could do since we were having a frikin Tsunami storm :-P But you get the idea. 2010 Avenger 6000K LED headlights ( these are just LED bulbs with the stock housing) 2014 DJ stock halogens

  6. Do people actually use these cargo covers? Its not like its a pickup truck or something. People worried about theft maybe? I dunno, if someone breaks into my car, im not worried about the stuff in the back, im worried about the car being stolen...or the airbags ripped out. My buddys car was stolen, they found it with all his airbags removed....but his expensive golf clubs were still there....LOL...dumb criminals....
  7. If companys wont ship overseas you could always have one of us mail it to ya. Just need to find the shipping costs first. My Zip code is 48386 if you wanna check the costs. *** I just checked and it looks like a small padded envelope is around $50 USD shipped to the UK***
  8. Well, when I checked the bulbs initially I put some dielectric grease on the connectors because there wasn't any. Maybe that fudged it up, I dunno, or fixed it maybe LOL.
  9. Its brighter than stock, I'll do some better ones tonight when its dark. It seems to not have the distance that a standard halogen has, like the light dissipates (or whatever) quicker. Had these since last October with 0 issues. Doesn't get dark until about 10pm this time of year, Im usually sleepin by then HAHAHAHA :-)
  10. Have to do it through settings, 18 steps later I upload a photo. Most sites use drag and drop but oh well, I figured it out, These are the 6000K LED Headlight bulbs. $24/set shipped direct from China, plus a $6 set of error eliminators. So $30 total shipped to my door, plug and play. Takes close to a month from the order date until actually receiving the items.

  12. Working now, but i'll keep an eye on it. Im not chasing down a short these days, that's what my warranty is for LOL.
  13. If you upgraded to full leather then yes. I didnt see the need to. I had similar leather/microfiber in my Charger. I have full leather in my Avenger, I liked the two tone seats better, but that's just me. Its all a personal preference thing.
  14. Anyone ever go this route instead of HID? Ive seen some out there and tried a set on my Avenger. Had to get some CANBUS code eliminators, but so far they're flawless. I liked the fact that I didn't need a ballast, or any extra wiring. The code eliminators are real small and don't take much space. Thinking about getting some for my motorcycle, but most bike guys say that since the reflectors are different the LED's don't throw the light pattern far enough out. Anyone try these on our DJ's?
  15. Right, so after a few days of driving, the light magically started working again. Did nothing but drive the vehicle and now its working perfectly. Wonder if a code got tripped then fixed itself? Really odd, but so is electricity.....its all voodoo and witchcraft to me.
  16. Key fob battery going dead or malfunctioning?

    Hello

I hope so. My charger had a tough time this last winter. I live on a hill and several times I had to leave my Charger at the bottom of the hill in front of the sub and walk home, even though the street was plowed. That little bit of compacted snow wouldn't let me get any traction, and it was so cold that the salt they put down wouldn't melt it. Cant be walking home in the winter with 2 little kids. So far my wife loves the car, she said its very similar to the Grand Cherokee we had in 06, but rides better. I wonder if they built the Journeys off of the old Grand Cherokee platform before the change to the new style?
  18. That makes sense then. Figured they'd be building 15's by now, the model change overs are usually August/September. I know it can vary by vehicle though.
  19. OK that makes more sense. You must have gotten employee price as well. Chrysler isn't as strict as Ford and GM. That's why I never get those vehicles. Dealers pay the same price for vehicles, their incentives are different. They can all offer what Chrysler advertises, but extra incentives are usually volume based, and usually apply to only certain vehicles at a time. Sometimes they word it differently, its all a marketing game. Like when you hear "extra bonus cash", or "double your trade in up to (X) dollars"..."extra 1k for your trade"....blah blah blah. Each dealer typically has a # they need to hit dictated by the manufacturer. If they don't hit that #, they don't get their extra incentives (rebates) for the next month, or significantly less.
  20. Personally, I like the contrasting colors. Id do gloss black with your color scheme. Flat black on wheels just looks cheap IMO, unless its a tuner or race car.
  21. That's pretty unbelievable..... 7k is an awful lot for a rebate. Maybe they had some dealer cash added in, but a straight rebate like that I haven't seen since 08-09 when they couldn't give a vehicle away because they were in bankruptcy.
