  1. Best rebate I've seen is $3250 on 14's. Problem is inventory. I don't get why they would build a 14 when they're building 15's and clearing out 14's. That's why there's a rebate on them.
  2. They'll be changing over to 15's soon, why didn't you order a 15? I got a 14 and my dealer located the one I wanted and dealer traded for it.
  3. I had a similar problem with my 08 charger. Turned out it was a sticker inside one of the air ducts coming loose, and the air blowing across it made a hissing/whistle sound. Threw me for a loop trying to figure it out.
  4. Hello, just got a 14 crossroad myself.
  5. Of course, but if I can save a dealer trip i'd rather not waste my time if its a 10 min fix.
  6. So my passenger side low beam is out. The bulb is still good, I swapped it to the drivers side to double check. What could be wrong? Had the car since last Wednesday.....New 2014
  7. Yep, upon closer inspection it is...in fact...the spray nozzle for the rear wiper.......(insert Homer Simpson "DOH")
  8. I'm in metro Detroit, if I see one I'll snap a pic. Vehicles that aren't in production yet are always driving around on the roads here. Usually they're covered with "goo" so they're difficult to photograph. I would imagine an SRT journey would be well over 40k. A decked out R/T is usually over 35k. Might not be feasible for this vehicle, unless its something really sweet.
  9. yeah its the big screen. Ill check it out tonight. Never seen a spray nozzle positioned in such a place before. Kind of a goofy spot for it if you ask me, should have attached it right to the wiper, would be less ugly.
  10. It is, maybe 2" or so to the left. Looks like a camera though. Thought maybe they moved the camera placement to minimize blockage form dirt.
  11. I think the cam is already installed, not sure what would be missing parts wise.
  12. Ill get one tonight, got the car yesterday and the wife already claimed it.....
  13. Yes, they clip in backwards sometimes. Ive never used a capacitor before either. Some say they flicker but ive never had a problem with that, at least that was noticeable. The lights should work as normal, with the car on or off, auto on, unlocking or whatever. But with HID, the first time you turn them on, let them run for 5 minutes or so at least. They need to get up to operating temperature the first time. If you dont, the color can sometimes be slightly different in each lamp.

    Hello

I go to Windsor all the time, my wife is Canadian and her Mom is still there. She has other family near London.
  15. Did you try reversing the connection on the ballast? Sometimes they're backwards so the + and - sides are incorrect.
  16. So I didnt get the backup camera on my 14 crossroads BUT it looks like the camera is installed already? Theres appears to be a camera on the top of the rear door next to the tail light bar. Is this something that can be added later, or does it just need to be hooked up somehow? I dont know why it would be there otherwise.

    Hello

Hello all, new DJ owner here. Have had plenty of Chrysler products in the past including 06 Cherokee, 06 Commander, 08 Dakota, 08 Charger R/T, 10 Avenger and now a 14 Journey Crossroads AWD. The journey replaced the Charger :-( and that was the best car ive ever owned. Super cool car, but it got less cool when the first car seat went in the back, even less cool when the second went in. Also wasnt the best vehicle for these Michigan winters, so hopefully the Journey does better, and im sure it will. I know a fair bit about cars and will contribute where I can unless someones already covered it. One of my good friends is a new car salesman for Chrysler so I can help answer some of the purchasing questions if they arise. A good salesman is gold, its really nice to not have to "shop around".
